Nice job brother. If you lean the front and back shocks inward just before the bend you'll get a little more softer rebound with them particularly shocks. You will have to drill the relocation holes but I promise it's worth it. The flex and rebound tou get are well worth the 20 minutes of modding. I went back to the stock shocks and did the deep bore and spring clip mod. But everything else is basically like yours. With the 2 speed transmission. And a tire mod. The wpl c24 has had a bad rap from it's beginning. It's not what it started out as. No it's the leader in 1/16th crawler on a budget. Best fun I have had out of an under $200 rc crawler.

Is there a reason you went with toy grade friction dampers instead of getting some adjustable oil shocks? It looks good, I just got a new C-14R the pale yellow one. I've got some stuff on the way for it It was fun while the little plastic gearbox held out but that wasn't very long in the yard.

Hey Buddy, Cause these where all the parts available at that time 😉🤙🏼 surely there are lot if better options also stock everything works really good , but youuuuu know by yourself wet can't let things stock 🤣🙈 In my opinion only few things make sense in metal on these and the rest stock work's good next time I would use the wpl original metal parts 😉🙏

@@a-ztube stock! Man I know I bout a tamiya tt02 kit 5 months ago and have only the chassis left and I mean only the pan which I want to get a carbon fiber one but I'm going to let the prices come sown some but I have $700 in it. And I don't even enjoy driving it, but that's because I live on an old road that's still rough and no place for a road car of it caliber. But I just got the c-14 I told you about abd just a few minutes ago in the mail I got my new motors and I have a metal gearbox coming but I'm thinking about doing away with that and doing two 3,000 rpm direct drive to each axle gear motors. I'm actually in the process of installing them. But I have a brushless A2212 2200kv system with a 30 amp esc I could mate with the gearbox I have coming but I think the direct drive is going to be more than enough especially since they are gear motors. I can't stop it with my fingers and I'm not a small dude. So I know what's go8ng to be next, axles! Hey I only asked about the shocks cause I've got some titanium ones identical to the one you have so if they work good I'm going to throw them on as well. Thanks for the response. Be Blessed

Ah okay now I understood 😂🙈 Anyway yes but I had two small problems with that first the Rod easy moves out if not used LOCTITE and the second one was it was a bit over stressed because of the missing angle and when moving the servo to the left side it had to work to much making a little bit of noise so I think it's because of that the stock one was also with that angle my Friend Anyway if it works for you we both are happy 😉👍🏽 Nice regards ✌️🏽 😊

@matejandrisek8094 жыл бұрын
@@schpreck i dont get it , how ?
@schpreck4 жыл бұрын
@@matejandrisek809 When the steering horn moves to the left it will go up and lose leverage. To run it this high you either need to lower the servo or you need a longer servo horn and link. But then you also need a radio that you can adjust end points or you will burn out the servo. I did basically the same thing myself, then i cam to the conclusion that it is just better to use the stock shocks and switch the lower attachment to a ball type one. WPL sells the parts on their site. The reason this all happens is because these shocks and the axles and links you are using too are actually designed for the MN90 not the C14/24. They just happen to almost fit. So sellers claim they are for them.

One issue for sure, is your shocks are too long. Plus, they should be straight up and down or angled in, towards center of chassis (length wise). Not angled out, toward the rear. That rear axle looks really angled as well. Those should sit level, unless the vehicle is so high. Also, the rear 4-link suspension is upside down, or you need to make top two shorter and make bottom two longer. That's not a canopy, that's called a body. I definitely wouldve done things differently.
