My latest crash my front wheel got caught on something when I was coming out of a berm . All good though as it was very steep and wasn’t going fast . Great video guys
@mortonfrankfire54002 жыл бұрын
I had a crash in January where I landed on my head and it seems to have given me weakness in my left arm now. It’s starting to heal but it’s still pretty weak. I went out last weekend and I hit three compressions and clipped a pedal. I couldn’t hold my weight up went straight out the front door and ended up in a heap with my 23 kg Ebike on my back. Not my finest moment.
@williamhollan5582 жыл бұрын
Clipped a tree maching it, went to grab brakes to gain control, but my rear brake lever had snapped when I hit the tree. Cue over the bars. Insult to injury.

i once rode down a steep technical banking lost control went over the bars and grabbed a small tree in a bear hug,suddenly the tree started bending over very slowy as it up rooted and deposited me gently at the bottom of the slope.The most bizzare crash ive ever had.

Great video!!! I have one remark: Remie left a tire footprint in front of the stone with his rear wheel, which you can see at 7:39min, and Chris drove on the left side of the track because at the beginning of 8:45min he had a rear wheel slip. Most importantly, Chris is OK and that he showed, he is the best of his kind, riding great after the accident.

I think that main culprit of Chris' crash was touching rear tire with his butt during the last phase of dropping, which caused similar situation of using rear brake and immediately nose dive with instant OTB in result. Glad that Chris walked away without any injury and as always great material Remy!

Being able both mentally and egotistical accept, listen and learn from different and/or critical inputs from other riders is what makes and made a truly great rider. Was at Fort William when Chris stomped the field! Changed times now! Back in 2002 we managed to sneak in to the pits on Friday and parked up by 4x rider Martin ‘Oggy’ Ogden’s old Astra? van in our old smilie transit! 😂

Wow, scary. It's crazy how quick it can all go wrong. Hopefully he doesn't get a concussion from that. MIPS helmets can help, but I bet he wished he had a full face after eating that moss and dirt. Like he said - lucky it wasn't right into some rocks. I'm always surprised more people don't use the split helmets with detachable chin guards. Ever since a fall that led to a concussion (I actually don't remember that whole day anymore), that's what I use. I keep the front piece in my backpack for the climbs and put it on for the descents, except for spring/fall season when it's cool enough to wear a full face for the ups as well.
