Some bands make music look easy cos they keep it simple. Tull demonstrate that their music is hard: complex, intricate, demanding, physical, intelligent, multi-layered and a real team effort. They do it brilliantly, with each member at the top of their game to push the collective higher and higher. Amazing stuff!

Every member of this band, has been grossly under rated. It is criminal, that Tull has never been inducted to the HOF, but then again, I believe they are BETTER than who is in the HOF. This band has always been in it's own class. And they set the bar extremely high.

Wish we could go back to these times! Martin still performs the Tull songs well, but Ian cannot anymore. He could quite easily bring in a new vocalist and still remain the dominant force on the stage & people would be able to hear the songs somewhere near how the originals sounded. That's surely why they go there in the first place?

Martin said in an interview that it was a huge error on Ian's part to end the band, and I agree. Part of Tull's greatness was Barre lead guitaring in and out of Ian's flute, so take away Martin and you have no Tull. That's simply a view from a Tull devotee. What Ian does now I have no real interest, he's taken away everything I loved about his music, as a BAND. On the other hand I have all time and respect for what Martin is doing, much easier to view and he always tells his audience how important his fellow musicians are. I felt that Ian always thought Tull was just himself, but without his hard working band the albums couldn't have been made, or the touring.

@@peterdevo-butler5984 100% agree. Martin's band has the energy ( so glad he toured Oz in 2019) that Ian's band does not. Let's not get started on Ian's vocals now..... Should stop, not how I want to remember him.

I was also at this concert making the three hour trek from eastern Long Island as Bethlehem, Pa was the closest they would be on that tour. I remember leaving the show and thinking that this was one of their best sounding performances I had seen and heard. Anytime Hunting Girl is in the set, it qualifies as one of the best ever attended. I remember the very long walk from the parking area to the seating area and hoping the rain would hold off which it did until Which You There to Help Me and dissipated later. A great venue and a show that will never be forgotten.

Amazing musicians, great songs, so tight and dynamic, still so relevant in the rock world. I can still remember cutting class, listening to Aqualung back in the 7th grade (in1970). My classmate and I spent a day exploring the album cover, all the songs on the album. Soon after that we got up front “seats” at the Spectrum Stadium in Philly, with 30,000 other mesmerized “kids” and my really hot girlfriend (in her worn out daisy dukes and a halter top) 😍 Rock on JT.

my first concert was War Child at Hershey Arena, PA in Feb 1975. It was also the best show I ever saw and that includes the Wall at Nassau Coliseum, Long Island in 1980. However, the LAST GREAT TULL show was 1978 Heavy Horses tour. Thereafter Storm Watch was the beginning of the end of Tull's greatness.

Broadsword was a great live show and good music ... still some life in them on-stage at that time ... now ... not so sure. I sometimes try to go to the shows because that is how they keep financing the music and I like the new music. Did you see Ian falling on his fat ass at 5:08 ???

sam To Sam I respect your opinion but Jethro Tull is great and the best band until 2007 when Ian with a very dishonest gesture fired all the old members including Martin Barre .

@@javierllerena5756 what an odd comment as both are still going strong and Ian’s gigs are being very favourably received.
