I just saw this series for, like the 7th time, at least and I had to do a LOT of re-analyzing and observing... I was a bit confused as to what had gone on before, but I absolutely ADORED this series!!!!!! at one point, when they are all sitting and eating together, i felt as though both Leo and tsubasa died and tsubasa was reunited with his step-father in heaven.. I would have accepted that ending :o

I honestly only watched this for Tomo. This was pretty good though. I did like Leo better than Kain from the beginning. It was sad when the bullies came after them but Tsubasa protecting Leo was really cute. At the end I know that people thought Tsubasa was now a vegetable but I don't think so. I think he was just so injured and in shock. So it seemed that way.

It was a bittersweet ending. Although Tsubasa and Leo are together now, they beat Tsubasa so much he is in a wheel chair. I hope that bastard Kain suffers more for what he has done no matter how hurt he was he should not have done that.

I know, right? If he loved Leo so much, why would he hurt him? In a way, I feel bad for Kain, mainly because he probably felt a lot of regret after hurting Leo. Also because he was completely rejected by the guy he was so in love with. I do really wish the ending was a little bit sweeter, but it's enough as it is.

@Ladirette most BL (boys love) themed movies/dramas have a sad ending but has an interesting story (but not all of them had sad endings.. XD). I would recommend some, but I am not sure if your soul would be crushed or not. XD 1. Boys Love 1 & 2 2. Ai no Kotodama 3. Takumi-kun Series (Tomo here - the guy that plays Tsubasa - is the first person that would play Takumi's role but from Takumi-kun series 2-4, someone also adorable would play Takumi's role)

I feel like there's a backstory that we don't know... I think Kain and Leo either have had feelings for eachother since once Kain had suspicions about Tsubasa and Leo (he as,ed in episode one or two in the pottery room) he tried to do whatever he could to keep Tsubasa away from Leo... I also think as far a a backstory goes, it becomes more and more obvious to me that Leo actually made the wings, not Kain...

I think it's partially because of the english subtitles. at the beginning when Tsubasa asked Kain if he made the wings, he actually said no, but the subtitles said that he did. Unless, it's an anti-hero, no one's going to name the good guy 'Cain' anyways lol~ foreshadowing much?

I think the same thing... I feel like Kain and Leo had a relationship in the past and then broke up, but Kain still has feelings for Leo and he is trying to get back together. Then Tsubasa appears and things goes all way down from there...

I really like Tomo, he has not only beatiful face but skills to act. I especially like his eyes because it seems to have sunshine in there, very sad in normal but shining when he smile. Ah, this one is called Tsubasa no Kakera (English translation Shattered Wings) This second is Sayonara no Merodi (Goodbye Melody) The third Seifuku no Ibu (Uniform Eve) And last, Unmei no Kodou (Throb of Fate) I think you can find them all on KZbin if you type Ren Ai Shindan and then the name of which story you want..

I watched the film hundreds of times because it's a really touching film (is this correct english? xD) The storyline itself is breath taking but with the actors it's much more for the eyes *_* The part when Leo (as a german I think it's not a good name for an asian guy ;D) scream at Tsubasa makes me cry a bit. I just don't like the open questions in the end. In my opinion this film is a highlight in the BL-Movie-scene! (My best friend asked me why Leo sounds like two fighting cats O_o xD)

When the guys were beating Tsubasa up, Tsubasa was talking about bones cracking so they most likely did some good damage to his legs. I'm assuming they were talking about his legs being wings and how he didn't listen and "fell into the ocean and washed up onto an island".

Ah, Hun it a series made up of 4 stories. This was the first one which is episodes 1-3 with the story line based around the Genre's Romance, Drama, Yaoi The second one which is episodes 4-6 based around Romance, Drama, Incest The third which is episodes 7-9 based around Romance, Drama, Yuri And finally the forth episodes 10-12 and based around Romance, Drama, Yaoi. I hoped this helped XD

Tsubasa never died. He was just unconscious. Leo probably took him to a hospital, and later found out that he was handicapped. They just didn't probably didn't want to show too much detail.
