I’m glad you got to Animal Flow. Much of it is influenced by George Orwell’s book Animal Farm as if directed by Stanley Kubrick. The 7 Commandments are displayed very early in the video. I think Ren’s cane adds a touch of Willy Wonka to the character. Also, you gotta love the dogs playing poker.

Badgering you into doing an Animal Flow reaction huh,i see what you did there😂 there's a few influences going on in this video,probably the heaviest being from the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell,but also the cane and eye makeup is a reference to the main character from A Clockwork Orange movie. Great reaction, as usual ❤ I think Ren just wanted to go a little unhinged with this one. Yes, there’s the familiar criticism of the state of things, how inept people in power are. But it’s not about proposing solution. It’s about kicking it all down. It’s about chaos. I really hope you also do the live, acoustic version of Animal Flow, it’s so good!

You did a good job on this. As it’s based on Animal Farm with some Lord of the Flies influence you won’t have got everything, and Ren does say he likes people to make their own interpretations too 🙂

You will take months of rewatching to catch everything. As well as the influences of Animal Farm, there is influence from Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The Witches of Eastwick, and more. Funniest thing... in the tub is The Creature from the Black Lagoon... also known as 'The Gill-Man". Ren is a man. His last name is Gill. Mind. Blown.

Love when I have multiple reactions to catch up on from you. ♥So many references to books, movies, nursery rhymes, paintings, etc.... It starts out with the Animal Farm reference with the laws written on the wall. The animals, mainly the pigs, were going to be better than man but ended up just as bad if not worse. It took me many times watching this to find the references and I am sure I still have missed some. The cane and outfit reminded me of Clockwork Orange or even Willy Wonka. So many ways to interpret this.

Yay! This is one of my favourites! I say that a lot but it was the first premiere I was live for so it's extra special. It also came out the same week the British King was crowned which felt very intentional on Ren's part especially with him being Welsh not English(the "your illegitimate king lost his crown" bar).
