Out of all the seasons and skill levels of all the rappers throughout PenGame history why would they allow BLAZN, a freestyle rapper, to battle against Ren in such a big event. Huge mismatch and opportunity missed.

Both dog shit tonight. Ren won clearly but could have gone way harder. I dont rate BLAZN but i do rate the fact that she is one of the only people ive ever seen with the balls to "Genuinely" freestle battle off the dome for 3 rounds! Risky move but a few years of practice it could pay off big time, so cant help but respect that even though it didnt pay off (a bag of predetermined punchlines dropped in the freestyle could of tipped this clash upside-down. I don't think the stage setting helped either, It takes away the raw personal, enclosed, in your face aspect of the clash which is clearly the foundation this whole thing was built on. Obviously, it's a money play which I respect because people are eating from this. That been said though, the 5k prize should be more or each mc should get a standard payout just for partaking especially when you take into account ticket sales, amount of people there and then social media monetisation, and the growth this will give the next event. So the promotors are laughing all the way to the bank here. Could have found a better way to do this while still filling bellies. Hope the next one is better and the formentioned is addressed or someone will Ctrl+C Ctrl+V and wipe this out.

That'll get the crowd hyped. Write, rewrite then recite so you can practice your delivery and be confident in your flow, mix it up to fit any beat. You did good for it to be off the dome and you're only 17. Keep at it and you'll be a beast. I beg you work on your pen game though coz you need to set up punch lines, insults, callbacks etc but definitely keep an the element of freestyling, just know when to implement it. Keep it up, you did good girl. Unfortunately most people don't respect (or even understand what a freestyle is anymore. They spit prewritens off they're phone) I rate you for trying it, but remember you're going to battle and you're words are your sword. So sharpen your weapon and come back bigger, stronger and better. Give it a year and always study your opponent (you'll get a feel for their style, so match it then strike that match and bun it down) I'm gonna keep my eye out for you. You don't have to take my advice, but trust preparation is important and you need a plan of attack in a battle. Honestly, after re watching this clash multiple times, I realized that Blazn actually has a crazy amount of potential. Initially I didn't catch a lot of the things she was saying so it didn't make sense to me cause of her different flow, but after re watching the clash I can see that the things she was saying in her 1st and 2nd round were actually pretty good for a freestyle, only thing I wasn't rating was the fixation on the colorism jokes. If she was able to remember her reload at 9:40 her whole performance would have been a lot more hyped as it kind of falls apart a bit around the 3rd round. But overall I think this was a great clash, Ren DMC definitely takes the W and has such crazy bars too, love the production stuff he adds on the beats that tie in to his bars. He could have probably been matched with someone closer to his skill level, but I think this was a really entertaining clash despite that and it had a different vibe to the more serious battles which is just as cool. Great video PenGame, waiting on DrizzGB vs Skamz
