Lennie's a kind, simple, strong man, who sometimes hurts animals that he pets by accident, because he doesn't know his own strength. At one point he crushes a mouse (rodent). He's a character in the book "Of Mice and Men" by John Steinbeck, which is considered a literary classic. Now read Ren's lines again... "...you are just a rodent and this is Mice and Men. Crushing skulls like I'm Lennie..." Just brilliant! :)

Best part is after Dotta saw his comeback he laughed so hard since he had eaten red velvet cake for breakfast that day! He also said he wouldn't come after Ren again. And yes, leave it to the most humble/genuine heart of Ren to honor the hip hop culture of diss/battles then end it with - but we could do better (I just played you at your game, so welcome to mine). Like everyone says, Ren is different and genuinely honest and encyclopedic in his general knowledge. Add his unique and unclassifiable talent to the mix and you have a once-in-a-generation (maybe, once ever) artist etc.

Dotta said out loud he was done with Ren after this. He said he had respect because Ren came with something you can't come back on. He basically conceded defeat. Another cool thing Ren did is low key call out his fans who were saying Dotta was trash.

I loved how Ren did this. Showed he could battle with the best of them and then flipped it to stay true to himself and his message of positivity. The best part was there was an interview with Dotta the day Ren released this and Dotta actually ate red velvet cake for breakfast that day 😂. There were also 2 diss tracks back to back from Knox in the middle of these two which is the part you were missing about Knox decapitating Dotta and Ren burying the head. Great reaction guys ❤

Knox Hill dropped his track 'Kill Shot', Dotta thought it was aimed at him so went after Knox with his diss 'Crown', Knox dropped 2 diss tracks in 24hrs 'Stan Remix' and 'Patiently Waiting', Dotta went for Ren with 'Kingdom Come' big mistake, Ren replied with 'Dumb King Come' we know what happened there, Dotta says he's done with Ren but he's not finished with Knox and he's released 2 more diss tracks on Knox, Dotta had 800 subs at the time then Ren said to show him some love now he got over 3,000 subs now, loving ya reactions keep it up.

First off, I’m from the Bronx as well. Born at Westchester Square Hospital way back in 1958! I have to say that I enjoy watching the two of you do reactions, especially Ren’s. Great analysis and Bri exudes joy and beauty. (No, no. I’m not thinking Beauty and the Beast 🤣🤣). Seriously though, I’ve gone back through your catalog and I also enjoyed your solo reactions to some hard rock and metal. I found some of your breakdowns very insightful, especially for a first listen. So many more can be done from those genres and it would be great to see Bri’s reaction to Led Zeppelin (especially Robert Plant🤣) and other bands. Keep up the great work. On Hip-Hop being exclusively Black culture: The main roots are there and always will be, but I grew up on oldschool electro and witnessed how it grew and morphed into early Hip-Hop. From the beginning the scene explored and heavily sampled every cultures music. I think that's why it went so global so quickly. It was new and fresh and seemed like it could go anywhere. And it did. So from conception, Hip-Hop was built on the foundations of what could be described as magpie music, and I mean that in the most positive sense. It explored and had creative fun with all types of music from all cultures. The same can be said for Graffiti art being inspired by historical wall paintings and specific lettering styles from other cultures, and B-Boys taking elements from specific tribal dances and adding their own creative flair to them; and even turntablism (Kool Herc) riffing off the idea of European experimental sound artists that played (no pun) with the idea of manipulating records to create unique and interesting new sounds.
