I was a Buddhist, first. I was a Marine, second. I became an athiest, third. Why??? What was the purpose? What is my purpose?? I still don't know, I still sit in the darkness, I still see no way out, I am still alone, I still have no answers, I still can't erase the human suffering my eyes have seen.... It's like I want to say he's 'gods gift' or 'heaven sent' because that's what most people would grasp but because of my own personal views and beliefs, I never would. The thing is, though, to say anything of the impact and power Ren has starts at legendary. To me, it is clear that the universe has 'chosen' Ren and he has been anointed by the greater powers that be that exist. I vote Ren for World President! Kidding of course, but seriously though.... When The Game ended I watched this bit over and over. The power of it gives me chills every single time. I'm older than you by a few years, and I know plenty of ppl much older than I who don't have even half of the wisdom you possess. IMPORTANT: This video must be put into the context of what it was...the conclusion of an incredibly elaborate 2 week treasure hunt based on the seven deadly sins with a prize for each sin to whomever got there first. It was all in the lead up to the release of Money Game 3. It sent all of us into a frenzy for those two weeks and it was soooo much fun. I'm closer to 40 and feel exactly the same way. Numbing the pain with cynicism was my coping mechanism before being inspired by Ren. Now I'm starting to regain my optimism and taking more effort to make the world a little better for everyone in it. Be it a small act of kindness to a stranger on a street or directing my professional skills towards things that can make a positive change even if it means taking a personal loss in terms of a pay cut.

I have listened to MG3 dozens of times since then ... but I never fail to think about the culmination of the ARG, watching this, and then going right into the Premiere of MG3. I don't think there are words to adequately express the emotional journey or the culminated impact that series of events had. MG3 was made SO much more intense as a part of that experience and the effects have lingered. Happy that this is here to revisit as well.
