If you want to see even more of Ren's versatility, then you need to react to Ren's mash-up of "Back on 74 / Message in a Bottle Live Retake". Only Ren can take the song "Back on 74"; released in 2022, by the UK electronic/funk/soul group Jungle and mash it up with "Message in a Bottle"; released in 1979 by The Police, then bridging the 2 songs with an original rap he wrote in 2023 & finally, making it sound amazing, like it was meant to sound like that in the 1st place. 🤯🤯. I'm old and grew up with early 80's Electro morphing into the early Hip-Hop. The best of times. A lot of Ren's rapping isn't Hip-Hop, but just rap in general. To jump on such a iconic beat from a God tier album takes some balls, I must say. I see other comments have called out the interesting (planned and not planned) elements, but I have to say almost all of the beginning isn't worthy of "bars" in any real measure. However, as the retake progresses I got more passionate and I think Ren just ever so slightly turned it into what I needed it to be. Give those flowers while they are alive!!!! P.S. If you don't think I know who Slick Rick is, you should probably "go see the doctoooooooorrrrr!" 🤣❤❤
