Hie parents took him and little sister to hippie style music, festivals. He first performed at 13, I think he said. Your experience with LaCrosse would equate with the "flow state" he describes later. I'm glad you found Ren. I think his journey will help you on yours. He helps us all very much the same.

‘This was one of the of the best interviews with Ren - the other being with the Charasmatic voice . He seems to get more relaxed and open with each interview . The one thing that really jumped out in this interview is that Ren is not a small person !! In his Twitch streams and some other interviews he is always seated scrunched up in a gaming chair and comes across like a 16 yr old kid . In this interview he is comfortably spread out owning the space - like he suddenly grew up . Love it . I know I am not the only one who was mislead . When Wolf Johnson released his Behind the scenes documentary of the Money game 3 video shoot - Conner asks him how did it go meeting Ren in person for the first time and Wolf said - He is massive , he didnt know Ren was so big - it made me chuckle out loud.

I’m at my happiest when I achieve flow state; when I’m completely immersed in what I’m doing. For me, it’s the only way to live and thrive.

Thanks for opening up. I'm one member of this underground community of chronic illness sufferers. I've had anxiety and depression my whole life (for me, it's genetic). I've also suffered chronic, unexplained pain, until seven years ago. I was coming home from work twice a week, immediately collapsing in bed crying, and not being able to move again for two hours. I REALLY started getting on my doctors and not letting it be dismissed, until I was diagnosed with "a text-book case of fibromyalgia". Getting a diagnosis is a celebration and a thing of grief. Even though you've been affected by your illness, actually knowing what it is, and knowing that there are no cures, only band-aids... You grieve for the person you thought you were going to be. I wasn't prepared. I was freaked out on anxiety about how this would affect my ability to work, and the anxiety created more pain in my body. But I got used to it. It became a sense of relief. I was so insistently trying to do everything a healthy person could do that I was causing myself so much pain. And having that diagnosis finally allowed my brain to relax and say "Hey, if that's your best today, then that's gonna have to be ok." I don't exhaust myself anymore.

Having the context of his actual lived experience makes the music so much more powerful. Imagine going from naked in the middle of the road to a #1 record in the UK with no label.

My YT friend- I related to your every commentary. I have had anxiety since my earliest memories. For me to enter flow state was when I was pitching in baseball. I didn’t hear the crowd. It was just me and the batter. It was the same when I played in a band. When I was playing live I seemed to forget who I was and my finger muscle memory took over. And I simply played the song and enjoyed - the moment -. We most likely come from different parts of the country and different upbringings plus the obvious differences, and the most inconsequential, the pigment of our skin and our age- I’m much older. But we both have shared experiences. Shared fears as, like you, I don’t like crowds and clubs. I overthought it which would cause panic and anxiety. Before I stepped foot on the mound or before I played the first note of the opening song I was a nervous wreck. This is a long winded way to say I see and appreciate you and the grind put in to doing what you want to do to realize flow state and happiness. All the while realizing that valleys and anxieties lay ahead- we push on. Thanks for all you do. All my best from a loyal viewer.

I thought your input was really interesting. I know you are better , but i also know the struggle is real , and an on going process . It's such a rarity to hear people talk about the voices in their head that make it difficult to be a social being . It many cases that voice in your , or at least my head wins . I just thought i was anti social. Then i started to think i wasn't interesting enough to hold a conversation, that l had nothing to offer . I am learning so much about myself, and people like you keep the conversation alive so thank you , and part 2 please .
