You simply MUST do Ren's acoustic version of this song! He does acoustics of some of his raps too. I highly suggest Murderer Acoustic and Ren's song Genesis acoustic (after you hear the regular version of Genesis, of course)! I'm totally here for this and many other journeys! Nightwish is a Symphonic Metal band whose lead singer is one Floor Jansen from your country, The Netherlands! Most start with Ghost Love Score live from Wacken 2013, but you could start with Storytime live from Wacken 2013 if you like. Unless you're already familiar! Ren has MCAS due to all the havoc Lyme wreaked on his body. MCAS means he's allergic to almost all food. He literally eats meat, and a few veggies. EVERY DAY. The same food. For years. He said at his new year's message that his goal is to become fat Ren and be able to eat what he wants. I hope he gets there someday. Also, working out reduces inflammation in his body so he's so shredded. You would never know he's still sick if you just go by what he looks like currently. He always has pain. He's learned to accept it, and said he's better now than he has been in years, but still has pain and problems and takes dozens of pills a day. You should react to his video he made when he hit 1 million subs--defining success. We love watching reactors do that. New subscriber for your Ren journey.

Ren's parents had nothing like that...Ren kept telling the Drs what he felt and they kept telling him it was his mind . He finally found a Dr who properly diagnosed him but it was 10 yrs of the wrong treatment while Lyme disease went untreated and wreak havoc on his body, brain etc.

Lyme disease is very rare in the UK that's why he was misdiagnosed for so long, he finally got diagnosed in Belgium by a specialist who recognised the symptoms luckily, but the damage had already been done

He was diagnosed with ME which a lot of doctors refused to acknowledge as a real illness so it didn't get the research funding it should have at first. Even though he was not actually sick with ME he did charity events and helped raise money and awareness for it. His "patience" video is actually featured in a documentary about chronic fatigue syndrome.

Great reaction guys! So he had Lymes disease and was misdiagnosed with Chronic fatigue syndrome, he eventually got the right diagnosis and had stem cell surgery to get rid of it, and now he's having treatment for auto immunity and brain damage in Canada.

The “rat tat tat” is also a very old school UK ska thing that Ren grew up with so I’ve noticed it here & there, along with his natural reggae rhythms that sneak into a lot of his music. Always makes me smile because I was into a lot of it when it was first coming out in the 70s & 80s.

They had tried, but could not make it a one-take. They have kept the one-take feel, though, as you mentioned.

Daughter and mortgage aren't slant rhymes in British English, the first syllables actually rhyme. He does slant rhyme Titan and Brighton, sort of. They actually rhyme in British English, with the usual emphasis on the first syllable, but to fit them into the song they become slant rhymes with the emphasis on the second syllable. There are cuts as the camera passes into and out of the car. It's actually quite obvious when it comes out of the car because they had to go back and film it the next day, and there was a white car parked where there hadn't been one before. They had to do multiple takes, and I believe someone actually called the police because they thought someone was being abducted for real. But the Brighton police were already familiar with Ren and he didn't get in trouble. He talked about the pig mask in an interview, I think it was on the Zach Sang show.

His health nightmare, mental and physical happened at age 19 when he was about to be signed to a recording contract. At which time his misdiagnosed illness put him through years of hell and treatments that continue to treat his too long neglected Lyme disease

I read that the guy walking on the right when the car pulled up ended up calling the police about this whole situation, but fortunately they had been informed already that Ren was filming, so they just went “Oh, that’s just Ren.” Brighton police was very familiar with Ren at this point, in large part due to the crowds he created while busking.

Like your style. Got here from ARs channel and I really like your vibe together. Dw about these running long. Im really enjoying the tangents 😂 If you keep doing these you will have the RENegades here giving u every detail and backstory in the comments The problem with diagnosing Lyme disease is that u don't find it if u don't look for it specifically. Ren most likely got it from being bitten by a tick and something they later on didn't connect when he was visiting doctors. One problem is the how there medical system in the UK works with a lot of overworked medical professionals and being heavily under staffed. Ren basically got unlucky and didn't get to meet someone that really cared enough to get to the bottom of his problem, they just did what they usually do, make an educated guess and treated according to that and passed him on.

He was misdiagnosed by doctors , continually receiving medication that caused him to seem mentally unstable due to the unchecked problem. If they had properly diagnosed early on the Lyme disease he could have been treated and cured rather easily but the Lyme disease ran rampant through his body combined with the damage to him mentally with unnecessary medications.

They didn'tt know much about Lymes Diease which is the result of the bite of a tick. And because there aren't many ticks in the U.K. they rarely see Lymes Disease therefore most Drs. have no experience with it.

Tick bites is not the first thing doctors think of in the Uk and so many people are not diagnosed with Lyme disease until it’s too late! Had they diagnosed straight away and got antibiotics it would have been so different!
