Holy shit they got Billy West back. It is surreal hearing him voice these characters again. tbh this might be the best Ren has ever sounded. Billy's Ren voice wasn't my favorite back on the original series, but 30 years later, he's got just the right rasp to his voice that suits the character phenomenally.

Even 20 something years later, he can still play characters like Ren and Stimpy and Fry from Futurama to perfection. Even long after he passes away one day, people will remember his voice 👍🏻

It's been forever since I've heard Billy West be Stimpy. I would read how Billy West had Stimpy's voice be a caricature of Larry Fine of The Three Stooges. Stimpy was where I first learned of Billy West. The guy would later go on to voice (Phillip J.) Fry on Futurama (along with Dr. Zoidberg, Zapp Brannigan, etc.).

There are definitely instances with Ren in particular where he kind of slips into Stimpy's voice. It's probably a much harder voice to maintain than Stimpy.
