Most likely Stevie would have gotten arrested for murder. The twins would have gotten split up and never knew about each other. Jenny was quiet just like her mother and Screech was violent like his father. So the line “history repeats itself” hits even harder.

The survival of the twins was the miracle ! The tragedy was Violet's death. ...... The way Ren scrippted this was pure theatre, enhanced by telling the story from the end ... back to the beginning, then hitting us with the punchline right at the very end for maximum emotional effect ..... Ren is a creative genius of the very highest order.

I always saw the Miracle as though now Violet is free from any pain and abuse of this world, while the tragedy was it had happened to begin with.
@FengshenNL

And then there's also the way you can explain the tragedy to be what actually befell the twins. Amazing how one small sentence like this can already elicit such a wide variety of very legit feelings. To me, the most powerful part in Violet's Tale will is his look when he said "I'm sure her mother knew...". It's just straight up chilling and will never not make me shiver when he says that.

So true waiting for that slap to the head when they get it, a huge let down when they don't. Because we know what happens and get excited by reactions. I think they are not really listening to the lyrics and the drama leading up to the final words.

Stevie would have gone to jail and no way in the uk he would get any access to the kids .. the kids jenny and screech would go into care and be fostered by different families ..the kids Jenny and Screech grew up not knowing each other ..that was the miracle ..that they met after 14 years .. the time was rewound to 2005 .. add the age of jenny and screech 14 to 2005 you get when the last tale was written 2019

For me this is also the tale of abuse and the patterns that follow. Violet was abused by her father and found love with an abusive partner (probably because this was her association with love). In addition Violets instinct in these moments was to be silent and through genetics her daughter Jenny’s instinct in danger was to be silent and still whereas Screech was like his father Stevie that especially once inebriated (Stevie drinking and Smoking, Screech Smoking weed) became violent. I must have heard this masterpiece a hundred times and every time I listen I find another detail that I hadn’t noticed before. To generate such a complex trilogy of intertwined stories in just 13 minutes of music is simply incredible

The most talented artist I've ever had the privilege to watch and listen to,what he achieves with so little financial outlay is incredible, there isn't another artist in the world right now that compares to him,no one else given a guitar and a video recorder could produce this kind of audio-visual experience, composed, written, performed and produced single handedly,if anyone can name another artist who they think either could or would be prepared to at least try to compete with Ren in terms of uniqueness or God given talent with such limited resources, then please name them, and I will happily tell you how wrong you are!!

Thanks for your reaction. To add a little to your understanding of the situation... Stevie would have been imprisoned for what he had done to Violet, the twins would have gone into the care system and been separated and therefore did not know of each others existence. I believe also that Ren has stated that Patrick was not at home for Screech because he was with Screech's girlfriend, which is why she was "too busy"! How much darker could things be!

It could be a lot darker. The twins could be the product of her father's incestuous relationship with Violet. And that's why she was called a slut and a liar by Stevie, because he thought the baby may not have been his...plus she was still a minor, having moved out at 16, so there's that...add 9 months, and she's still underage.

No. They didn't get sent back to Stevie. That's the point. They were separated at birth because Mom was dead and dad was probably in prison (hopefully) They grew up in separate worlds, but in irony, they came together at the end of both of their lives. They didn't know that they were brother and sister. May not have even known they had a sibling. Both still absorbed their beginnings. Screech like his dad, and Jenny like Viloet in some ways. This is one of the most amazing pieces of art. Like "Hi Ren". Ren is just a genius. I'm absolutely in LOVE with him.

20:00 "It's SO Good." Which is said gleefully. I know you guys are caught up in Ren's story-telling. I can't wait to watch the rest of the reaction (Violet's Tale); but, what I love so much about Ren is that he is doing this because we all have been so de-synthesized to murder and violence. This is not to cast judgement on anyone here. I am much older than you guys. To me, Ren has a HUGE heart and, in my opinion, has "awakened" due his horrific medical episode (though there is plenty to suggest he has always had powerful empathy and intelligence -- brilliance) and has brilliantly crafted this trilogy to encapsulate the human condition. This is made evident by Ren's new video "Eden" which I can't wait for you to react to. 🙂❤ Also, I love that Taylor is such a fan-girl. I am, also a big Ren fan! 🙂❤

Violet's tale happened in 2005 (two zero zero five). Jenny and Screech happened in 2019 14 years later when the songs were released. Jenny inherited her mother's silence and Screech inherited his father's violence which is why she was still and silent when Screech killed her. Also an interesting part is when Screech knocks on the door and Patrick isn't home then he calls his girlfriend who said she was busy, they were actually together behind his back. This is brilliant storytelling. It's a story of how history repeats in the lives of people. Ren truly is brilliant. He describes his genre as "Bardcore" which is perfect as he's a modern day minstrel or bard. Peace... ✌

In the case of this trilogy that leads you on a journey of horror, violence and ultimately tragedy worthy of Shakespeare. Like a Tarantino film, it's wonderful going back and rewatching from the beginning...knowing the twist...and then speculating on the challenging lives Jenny and Screech had from the start. Now that you know Jenny was also 14, you wonder why she was dragging her feet, heading back home in high-heeled shoes on streets she'd walked 1,000 times before, dressed to look older (Screech left this "lady" lying still on the floor). Underaged prostitute perhaps? And I love the foreshadowing of Ren's positioning and rocking on the hospital bed...and looking around like he's wondering what's happening. Definitely a child birth scene to me. Ren's mad talented...as is his videographer Samuel Perry-Falvey. Excellent sound captures in all 3. Great work by all.

There aren't many reactors who get the story in full with Violet, often missing that she's the mother of Jenny and Screech because they get lost in the music and forget the story. I love that you caught it and the message at the end when you spoke on domestic abuse and mental health. Thank you so much, Sabrina! Many people have told us that a lot of people don’t catch that and it was pretty shocking to us because we both thought it was pretty obvious. Seems that’s not the case, so we’re glad we weee amongst those who did. Of course, those are things we think should definitely be spoken about. Thanks for the recommendations as well. We will be covering much, much more Ren, so definitely appreciate these, especially with the links! ♥️

Violet’s boyfriend Stevie would have went to prison for her death, and with Violet having passed away, the twins would have been raised separately in foster care, and would not have known one another. So Screech unknowingly killed his twin sister. Jenny was quiet like her mother and Screech was violent like their dad. Also Ren revealed in an Instagram story that the reason Screech’s friend Patrick wasn’t home and his girlfriend was busy was because they were together.

I know you loved the story telling, but hard to watch the smiles and 'yes' reactions when you've seen this before, you got there at the end. The backstory is that Ren read an article in the newspaper about a youth who killed a young prostitute in a crime ridden part of London, who was then shot and killed by a responding police officer. He indeed was shaken, and it was his commanding officer who was quoted in the newspaper saying 'they were both so young, It's Such A Shame.' That is where that line comes from. Ren produced these a year apart, and Violet's Tale was created to bring in Intergenerational Trauma that effected both Jenny & Screech, they behaved as their parents did in a system of abuse and neglect.

Stevie didn't get the kids, he probably went to prison for what he did to Violet. The kids Jenny and Screech probably went into the system because Screech didn't know Jenny. A tragedy. I recommend watching Ren Ft. Bibi Crutch.

I dont think that Stevie would be the type who would want to step up and be responsible for two babies! They would have gone into the system and likely raised separately, clearly unaware of each other.

I heard in an another reactor's video some more infos about the story : Jenny was a 14 y old prostitute who want to "sleep" (die) and get killed by Screech. Violet was abused by her father and the mom knew. She get pregnant from his father and at her 16y old she quit the house for a bad guy who beat her to death saying she's a liar because he knew the baby was not from him. When she gave birth to the twins , Screech went to Stevie , the Violet's boyfriend.

I think Jenny and Jame's father and grandmother were already in prison for childabuse... Stevie also in prison for murder, Violet dead... so Jenny and James were fostered out. Or possibly sent to an orphanage. Jenny and James appear to have run away, or otherwise gone wild from their independent respective placements, James obviously has gone astray... but Jenny, at 14 has 'walked these streets' about a thousand times before.... in high heels at night..... The original germ of the story was a young boy of 14 sentenced for the murder of a prostitute in a robbery gone wrong, reported in the news. It would be unusual for a young single person to be homed on the council list.... which makes me think that Stevie is not the father of this mother to be's children, and that she was already pregnant when she received help, and Stevie just filled in for that missing bastard of a father in her life. He charmed his way into free accommodation and whatever suited him.

Your reaction video to Hi Ren just popped up for me tonight, and I noticed the Nebraska shirt. Since my wife and I both grew up in Nebraska (Beatrice and Fairbury), we looked for your reaction to this video. Any idea why he had a Huskers jacket on? Regardless, your reactions have been similar to ours.

A haunting realization that hasn’t been mentioned here is the question of why Jenny - who as we realize at the end is also 14 - has walked the same street a thousand times before in high heels. Combine that with Screech describing her as some “lady”, not “girl”, suggesting she is either weathered or made-up to look older, and you realize Ren is insinuating that Screech was mugging a prostitute, not knowing who she was. 😢
