Renai Circulatuon [Upscaled and Enhanced]

This was upscaled using the aforementioned video using Topaz AI. 1080P was chosen as it is generally possible to upscale a clean 720P to 1080P. Since each scene originates form individual submissions, the optimal settings for one clip were not appropriate for other clips. In one I had to replace a background with a static image due to a strange ripple effect which was due to video compression used.
The clips from Topaz AI were composited as necessary within Davinci Resolve Studio. Additionally, I lightly stabilized the shakier segments and even straightened-out a crooked horizon. In areas where upscaling results were less-than dramatic, the footage was cleaned-up to reduce the impact of video compression artifacts.
I would also like to note that although AI upscaling often results in "mutants" or mutant features on humans, it does an exceptional job on inanimate objects, concrete, and buildings. In one particular scene I managed to hide a "mutant eye" in a cross-disolve. Ultimately, I did take a crack at using QTGMC/Vapoursynth by way of Hybrid (Selur.de) but that process is gonna need a bit more trial and error to yield worthwhile results.
There's room for further tweaking, but if I did that woudn't be done for another week. At this point, I'm satisfied with the having learned to use the MagicMask.
