Fascinating topic! Only critique I have is the music is perhaps a tad too loud for the narration.

Interesting! I never thought about the difference of removable headwear for men vs unremovable headwear for women before! Now that you explained it, even much later up to almost our times, womens' hats were secured with headpins as not to blow away or fall off when moving, wheras mens' hats were not secured.

Love this! I’d love a deeper dive into more Italian renaissance gowns.

Lovely, thank you. I can not help but notice that all of the men are wearing gowns of various lengths - hardly a new thing!!

People in the past could be so weird!

"Traditions of Men" is equal to Pride. Pride was behind this. A Lower Cast Man, would be quick to doff their hat and be humble, for Lords and Kings could have them Drawn and Quartered, Hung, Jailed, Whipped, Fined, Kicked Off the Land, Dismissed, Shot, Shunned! ALL because of Pride. The head coverings of women were NOT to be Removed, for Shame and Piety. Harlot Label was a Curse, of that Time. Hair was the Crown and not to be Shared with the Other Males! Pride and Ownership by the Man, dictated the Woman's Coverings! I truly hate these Games Men Play! Finer minds, my buttocks! 😂

I'm sure there are many customs today that people in the past/future would find weird as well haha. Everything exists in its own time period and geographical area.
