You should check out their official live version of this. Also you need to check out their original sea shanty "Skull and Bones." When Home Free released their "Sea Shanty Medley" during the lock down and it went viral, the game company Ubisoft saw it and was so impressed by them that they reached out to Home Free and asked if they would be interested in creating an original song for their game (which was in development) Skull and Bones. Of course they jumped on that and their one and only sea shanty enthusiast, Adam Chance stepped up and wrote a master piece. Ubisoft introduced them and their song at the Summer Game Fest 2023, along with the lyric video which is what we had until now. Their official music video incorporates elements of the game into the story depicted in the video. Well worth the wait, love it. What an epic original sea shanty by Chance and Home Free. You can tell Ubisoft contributed a lot to this video. Many have commented that it is like a mini movie including the end credits. In the credits the female pirate is referred to as Marianne and is played by Clair Glassford. The young Marianne is played by Kate Kilclough. Looking forward to what they have next for us.

Home Free got really creative during the pandemic. This is one example. Filmed in TikTok format, they posted the “Wellerman” portion on TikTok and the sound went viral.

One of them left recently, their high tenor Austin, and his replacement has already started with them. He seems like he will fit in nicely with them. But before that it has consistently been the same five guys since 2016.

It’s a great medley of sailor songs by the boys. Home Free became quite creative during Covid. They all bought cameras and recording equipment so they could record at home. They put out a song every two weeks for us fans. That’s when I discovered them. Tim was standing in a boat, that’s why he didn’t move much. This shanty became so popular that it attracted Ubisoft, the game maker, to them. They requested a new shanty for their new game Skull and Bones and Chance delivered. Skull and Bones is a great pirate song with Chance in the lead. Chance has quite a few songs under his belt. Try I Can’t Outrun You, Some Girls Do, Yours. There’s more but I can’t remember all of them. Enjoy!

You should hear Chance's solo version of Leave Her Johnny/Lowlands, on his channel. Totally different and amazingly beautiful. Of Austin's solos, one of my favorites is his cover of Neon Moon by Brooks & Dunn.

How good are these guys? The fun & energy in this is infectious. This was done during quarantine so none of the guys were even together. The editing of this was great & was done in the Tik Tok style. Love all the guys parts, with Tim's rumbling bass underlying it all. And Adam's beatboxing is phenomenal as always including sea swells & castanets. Amazing how he increased the tempo from one song to another. They recently released a professional live recording of this medley.

Adam Chance (red hat, your surprise lead) has some solo stuff that his hugely worth a listen/watch! His cover of Counting Crows’ “Mrs Potters Lullaby” is probably one of my top songs from any genre this year! Also if you ever watched Disney’s Robin Hood (highly underrated movie) his version of oodalally is brilliant)

the show guess - Wild Wild West (My husband is a huge fan of the show) Not sure of the episode though. Now the song...when they do this live, which is every show since it is so popular, the crowd goes nuts and sings along. To hear about 200-300 people singing along is amazing! And the guys play into it. Such an awesome song. It's one of my wake up alarms in the mornings. LOL

I just subscribed! I’ve been a fan since the Sing Off! They are my favorite a cappella group, but I also love Voice Play almost as much. Austin is not the only Home Free member who has solo releases. Tim and Chance also have KZbin channels with covers, and Chance has a couple of originals. This was towards the end of the pandemic! Their live versions are amazing, as well!

I just got your channel come up on my page. I don’t know how long it’s been since you reacted to Home Free but Adam Chance ( first singer ) took Chris Rupp’s place in 2016 and in June this year is Austin left and Adam Bastien has taken his place. Those are the only 2 that have left. Ubisoft heard their Sea Shanty Melody and loved it and approached them with this amazing opportunity to write a shanty for Skull And Bones video game .Chance loves sea shanties and everything to do with the sea and loves gaming he jumped at this amazing opportunity to write this.They also did a Lyric video sang a shorter version live at Ubisoft Live Premiere. Tim Foust and Adam Chance also do solo work and Chance just released an original song on his channel called Ancient History

Kudos on getting Dr. Loveless's first name in there as well. Is the Chance song from the horror version of Brokeback Mountain?
@audreyjohnson45994 ай бұрын
@@ige-individualgroupeffort-kenlThank you. Migelito Loveless is the only villain I clearly remember. Michael Dunn was the actor who portrayed him. I Can't Outrun You is a song by Trace Adkins, a country singer. No connection that I know of to a movie.

If you mean a clue on the Robert Conrad show, it was later made into a movie in 1999 starring Will Smith. The villain was played by a dwarf. As far as Austin goes, I did eventually realize he was the one with the beard in the red later in the video.
