The video was put together in one week. They shot it at Tecate Pa’l Norte in Monterrey on March 31st. The video team is led by Ivan Chavez, recent graduate of the University of Monterrey film school. The team he leads is top notch. His first major TW video was the Metropolitan concert.

Great analysis video Ken. The choices Pau makes for her drum composition here are quite unique. I really appreciate her thinking outside the box on this song - how many drummers would choose a swing beat on a song this hard (if you listen carefully there is a spot where she plays a shuffle on the hats in the studio recording). Nice, thoughtful reaction as always, Ken. You manage to be very appreciative without going all fan-boy. This is like the culmination of what we all thought they could be, and I shudder joyfully to think what might come next. Pau to me is just reaching another level with her sick drumming -- very satisfying and impressive. I like where they're going with their lyrics -- injecting more sensuality, which was bound to happen sooner or later. That growly outro could be grown into a whole new song; I could listen to that for a very long time. Our rock band of little girls is now so womanly and heavy, and I love it a lot! 🤩

Your “fame” analysis, I think, is right on. The lyrics from their songs are pretty much consistent. In a couple of interviews they said this album was different in the sense that it wasn’t their traditional darker themes but one that was them wanting to have fun. Taking your assessment along with their comments, I think the context of fun was meaning that was of their playing their music differently and the lyrics being the outlet of where they’re at, status wise, with their progression as a band and sharing how it is from the inside looking out which is us not being there would know. So it’s just another aspect of them sharing their feelings with their listeners through their songs. The Warning being The Warning. I think Automatic Sun just might be the song that gets the attention from the industry enough for them to think it’s radio worthy though I think there are a few others that should be as well. Not only do I think it’s their best off the new album so far, the song, as in the past, once again seems to blend multiple genres in one which is another layer of their musical talent and uniqueness that can be appealing to a broader audience. ⚠️⚡️⚡️⚡️

I love the dynamics in this song, they keep you guessing the whole time. As for the guitar, from what musicians were saying on Patreon and my visual confirmation online, the new guitar seems to be a Fender Jim Root Strat, I may be wrong, but I seem to remember Dany mentioning that she used a baritone guitar on the new album, so some were suspecting that it maybe has a baritone neck or if not maybe she tuned it down to drop C or even some thought drop B and lastly could an harmonizer be used in the Kemper to attain that bassier sound, what do you think?

It is in fact a baritone Strat. Custom Shop as it's loaded with humbuckers and has her signature on the back of the (70s style) headstock. Baritones are typically tuned B-B but she's got it tuned A-A, which explains why Ale's using the Inferno bass instead of the Hyper Blue.

I believe it is just the Warning-sound. Inspirition can they get from everywhere, just like every other band. We will hear it in Haarlem, what it sounds live! PS saw/heard them in Nijmegen last year, was great. Royal Blood was for me mwaaa, in Nijmegen and by the concert of Muse. But everyone has his own opinion.

Dany is playing a baritone guitar on this song tuned to B , she got 2 new custom fender strats to bring on tour , the black baritone and a pink standard tuned strat , although there specked out more like early charvels , 1 volume and 2 humbuckers

I think their songs are not self-referential about their lives as artists. I think they and their team have set goals and know that they have to work very hard to prevail (they are already doing it) and then stay in the industry. I think they are happy with their career and perhaps at some point they need to regulate their exposure, but now is their time to show what they are capable of. We will see a lot of The Warning all over the planet. There will be signs.

No, you’re not wrong. There’s a definite theme throughout the lyrics of all the songs for this album so far. All the way back to ‘MORE’. Whether happy accident or secret hollowed-out-volcano level plan from Pau I’m just happy to be along for the ride. Songs that are “just fun to play” and “not that deep” for Pau are still next-level genius to us mere mortals😊

Ale's Inferno is drop tuned to A, just like Dany's Fender Baritone guitar. So far, it is the only time in recent months that we have seen her(Ale) do a guitar change during a concert.

For me, the "automatic sun" is the spotlight, the stage lights. The video showcases it a couple of times, in one of them, "the sun" is next to Ale if I remember correctly. If this is true, the decision to record this video during a live performance in their Hometown is specially smart, they always strike me as specially aware of how they're being perceived, but all the singles from KMF so far are specially aware and like breaking the 4th wall.

Maybe the term Automatic Sun refers to the fast lane and the nightlife. The concert begins in the darkness while the girls find their place on stage. The first note is hit and you have an explosion of Automatic Sun. Another day in the "Hell You call a Dream" begins. I am so impressed with these young ladies. I pray I'm reading too much into their lyrics. Record labels are notorious for placing pressure on artists to produce and the fast lane can be a killer. I would rather they walk away than succumb to pressure.

I asked them about that in a live chat and they were praising the record company for not trying to steer them too much and letting them control so much while still making suggestions and supporting them. I honestly think this album is going to get up there with Def Leppard's 'Hysteria.' That album had six or seven brilliant singles, this album has four (and now five), and counting.
