On October 7th, 2023, 364 lives were tragically taken from us at the Nova Festival in an act of unimaginable violence. These were people who came together in the spirit of peace, love, and unity, celebrating music-a universal language that transcends differences. In a place meant for joy, they encountered unimaginable evil, but we will not let their memories be defined by this senseless act.
Each of them was a son, a daughter, a friend, a soul who brought light into this world. They sought to connect through rhythm, melody, harmony, peace, and dance, leaving behind a legacy of togetherness that no darkness can erase. Though their time with us was cut short, their spirits remain forever entwined with the music they cherished.
As we mourn, let us honor them by living with compassion and courage, continuing the fight for peace. In their memory, we commit to building a world where such violence no longer has a place and where the love of music and life prevails. May their memories be a blessing.
One year later, the tragedy is still not over. Forty-four hostages were taken from Nova, and over 100 remain in Gaza, including Agam Berger. #bringthemhomenow.
