The stage presence is outworldly. Few modern singers can command the stage as she did. Singers of the same calibre as Tebaldi are deeply missed. Truly mesmerizing.

partiamo dal presupposto che è un suo cavallo di battaglia, he i discutibilmebte ha una voce fantastica na cge c' rntra fare sempre il pifferaio del gossip su altre dive eccelse.. stili diversi, voci diverse e repertori diversi... anzi parzialmente diversi... Chi è chiuso nelle proprie convinzioni ha preclusioni e critiche a braccio e fuori contesto. Ringraziamo invece di avete avuto voci di questo calibro con generosità...nel canto spianato o nei virtuosismi ... oggi purtroppo ci si contenta delle "sciantose" alla Netrebko... non ci sono vedovi del gossip ma vedovi/e della grande lirica....

è Stata una voce d'angelo in alcune occasioni ma anche molto carnale in altre! come qui ! dico pure che la sua voce era fisicamente bella e piena di armonici! anche i piani e pianissimi non sono un sussurro falsettistico come in altre cantanti ma. perfettamente sostenuti sul fiato! come si fa poi a dire che è fredda interprete per me resta un mistero! è sempre coinvolta e coinvolgente ! nata per questa parte! con la olivero la migliore Adriana di sempre! per me è chiaro! ma anche per tanti altri se la finissero di ascoltare senza pregiudizi! ogni artista è unico e irripetibile! alcuni le hanno scritto autentici insulti che evidentemente per me non merita! visto che poi sono disposti ad ascoltare i dischi o andare a teatro ed a applaudire. gente che in confronto ad artiste come queste abbaiano ma hanno la fortuna di avere un altro cognome!

Renata Tebaldi como ninguna otra cantante no tenía notas de pasaje entre los diferentes registros, eso le permitió cantar con morbidez, poder, musicalidad, belleza incomparable y a la vez perjudicaba la emisión de algunos agudos, lo cual no importó a cientos de millones de sus seguidores. Si para emitir ciertos agudos a la perfección hubiera tenido que sacrificar el resto de lo que hacía la humanidad habría perdido a una voz irrepetible. depende de que Tebaldi, la Tebaldi de la Missa de Requiem 1950 la voz es perfecta desde la primera nota hasta el ultimo agudo, lo mismo su Wally La Scala 1953, su primera Aida con Erede de 1952, en realidad todo lo que cantó hasta 1958 los agudos son excelentes y entre otras caracteristicas, una caracteristica de Tebaldi es cantar del Do central hasta el Do agudo sin que su voz pierda calidad, inclusive el timbre jamas se empobrecía , ni en los agudos en fortissimo

Ahh, that voice. Though this is wonderful, nothing compares to her live performances. The size of the voice was incredible as heard at the Met. I saw Tebaldi in: Adriana, Otello, Boheme, Tosca, Falstaff, Gioconda, Fanciulla, Andrea Chenier. No one today, comes close to Tebaldi.

Wonderful performance! There are so many good ones to choose from. One other that I have enjoyed is Mirella Freni's performance at the Met's 1991 Gala. Look it up on youtube. Callas and Scotto are also divine. Tebaldi's diction is superb!

Tebaldi had one of the most beautiful voices in the World. Callas was NOT jealous of her. Callas admired talent. And Tebaldi had talent. The whole rivalry thing was created by the press. Sutherland was a friend of both Tebaldi and Caballe. She obviously thought Tebaldi had a beautiful voice.

I think no singer, even the very greatest, is perfect…And I think that both Callas and Tebaldi, as well as Sutherland, had certain specific things that made then stand out,,,Callas had an unmatched musical and dramatic ability as well as an incredible range, Sutherland had extraordinary equality through the range and agility, but Tebaldi had without a doubt the most beautiful, luscious timber and her legato was to die for…And I think no human being can ever escape from jealousy, which to me is not necessairly an evil feeling, it pushes you to do your best and strive for what people have and you don't.
