in todays video we find more rust!! when removing the rubber around the petrol cap i found more rot we cut it out and replace it with good metal 💪💪💪

Spot on mate. Well soaked wet rag, any stray sparklers should be eliminated . The alternative is drop the tank out and find a whole lot more work and I think this one has had enough love .

Great work again mate your welding skills are pretty good if you ask me. Seen in the comments the new car didn’t come off. I know your a Ford guy and that’s all I’ve driven for many years now but I always had a soft spot for Astra gte/ gsi. Would be great to see one of those on the channel. I would thoroughly enjoy someone giving you the opportunity to spray a project in a “better” environment. I would be surprised if the finish could be much better than what you achieve already. I have seen dozens of R5 turbo's and Renault 19's a few years back @ Po144ax Fareham hampshire, a friend of mine knows more about this place but I believe he deals in classic Renaults but is hard to find.. if you put in this postcode you will see the car yard behind and beside 'deep blue yacht charters' hope it helps and love the video BTW 👌👍

Don't suppose you've got any tips or could do a video on blending thinners? I've a car that has issues on the rear quarter up to the c pillar, but the rear quarter & roof are all one panel with no join lines and I don't want to paint the roof!.. So I want to do the paint work and blend the lacquer it in at the c pillar...

Grant, not related to the video but I got my car resprayed by a fella who said it would be returned to me perfect. The job he did was brutal. Honestly it's so bad that I nearly vommit every time I see it. I wish he had given it the time attention and skill you put into your jobs. What would u advise me to do next.
