Renault Clio 2014 review - Car Keys

I bought this Clio, for me style is important, I like a car that looks good, and the Clio is an eye catching car. I have it in the Flame red as in the video, stunning colour! I also prefer the media nav system to anything Ford has, it's easy to use. The diesel is a great engine too, but don't believe the figures, i'm getting just over 60 MPG from mixed driving. Beautiful car, very smooth and refined, I love it!

Is it true that you pay extra tax if u use diesel compared to petrol?

Just bought the new updated model with the full LED lights. Learned to drive in the mk 2, first car was the mk 1. Currently got Megane mk 2 (second version) dci. Do love a Renault haha

The fact that the seats go down would make this car great to pop in a really nice sound system with a pair of 12's in the trunk. I love having bass in my cars but you don't get that great of sound if the seats don't fold up.

Come on guys do your homework. There are 4 petrol engines not 2. Just so you know there is the 0.9 tce, 1.2 16v, GT line and the Renaultsport

Thanks for your comment. We did not mention the engines in the GT Line and Renaultsport models as they are more performance orientated variants, we did not want to deviant from the standard model. I had the 2014 tce 90 medianav black with red trim as well as the wheels in this video and for the few months I had mine it was the perfect car for me I drove to Newcastle and back home on weekends then to the odd wrestling event also to Scarborough up and down the moors used it for fast food deliveries it was my baby I named mine while driving home from Newcastle on day one she was called shaniqua I had decided that I pick the car up go to an appointment go pick a family member up then we ended up in Newcastle on the a19 home she drove so smoothly she was just the best the only few things I wanted to do if I was to keep her was to wrap her in a glossy red put a apple car play in her and to finish her off a nice Zello button for zello app but I got her used low miles and knew that she was only short term 😢

I bought my current 1.2 Medianav 2 years ago and have regretted it ever since, sure it’s a looker but those looks bely it’s poor road performance and handling, cheap plastic facia and surroundings, should have insisted on a test drive, it struggles when climbing gradients meaning I have change down to gain enough traction, any road imperfections are magnified by it’s unyielding suspension which cannot be adjusted, that coupled with no soundproofing in the body shell adds to the feeling that I’m driving in a steel box, hopefully Renault should have ironed these issues out in it’s later incarnations.

Bought the clio 1.5 dci after driving golf fiesta 1.6 diasal and the clio hands dwn better to drive pretty nippy 1st 2nd 3rd good price black bose system

This clio media nav has fabulous looks really nice interior everything on board you could possibly need drives and handles great best of all dose,nt break the bank to run you,re spoilt!!!!

What a stupid idea and totally un necessary to change engine noises. That just ridiculous. It’s a car not a toy.
