It seems like a lot of effort just for the code? Wouldn't be easier to just phone any Renault workshop, give them your vin, and let them tell you the code over the phone? Thats what I did. I feel removing all of that is too much effort for something can be resolved with a phone call.

too complicated, just create an account at My Renault, register your car with the chassis number and after opening the account you can see the radio code in the section about your car
