Renault Grand Scenic Wet footwell issue - Easy Fix - Only need to undo 2 plastic push screws

Renault Grand Scenic 2007 wet footwell issue - Easy Fix - without removing wiper motors, housing etc, just get to drain hose behind front wheel and pull drain hose end off. You only need to undo 2 plastic screws.
Update: Car still didn't start. I put a dehumidifer in the car to dry it out and different things then stopped and started working but car still didn't start. Breakdown took it to a local Renaul guy who took out the main light green connector under the passenger seat carpet with about 20/30 wires in it which was melted and he cut connector out and soldered all wires together with butt connectors. Said as car eventually dried out the wires fuse together. Search for "Renault main connector under passenger seat" Total cost £330 for around 4.5 hours work. Good luck.

Thanks for the video. I've got a 2006 with the same problem which has screwed up the electrics. Did you manage to dry it out successfully to get your electrics working?

@@jkeert Renault main Stealers want to charge me £700 to remove the interior, let it dry & the re-install the interior & they can't even guarantee that would resolve the problem. They are quoting in the region of 2 grand to replace the wiring loom. So as London is back in tier 3 i've gor a bit of time on my hands so i'm going to try and repair it myself. I'll go down the breakers get the parts and give it a go. Wish me good fortune. Thanks for the swift reply and advice. All the best to you and yours.
