A solution is to turn the key to position 2 then push central locking button on key fob and hold down, turn key to position 1 and then back to position 2 making sure central locking button on key fob still depressed. Red immobiliser light should go out and car will start.

hi i drove my 01 renault scenic to the shop when i came out it would not atart the imobilizer light is not on at all no light on nit at all what would it be

the same problem has my Vauxhall Vivaro vans. I changed the spark plugs, changed the oil pump but did not start and tried it with easy start but only when it supplies the spree, I do not know what i should do

so what about engine turns over fires on easy start but no light for immobiliser and will not run on diesel ??

I have a similar problem in my car when i turn on the ignition the immobilizer light just stays solid and the car doesn't turn on.Any idea of what it is ??

Do u know what happens when u don't even get the light to flash neither come on or flash .nothing .no light .get ignition etc .just not turning over .however it will bump start n run fine

what if the red light is flashing with the same speed , id doesnt speed up when the key is turned on in ignite position? Fuel pomp is working , Sensor of the shaft position works fine ..

Wondered if you could help, my vehcle starts with a blade key but when using the fob key, imo' light flashes and i have to turn whilst pressing fob ( which i believe is a bypass trick) is this because it is the wrong chip? And is it possible to remove the imo' chip from the board so i can still open c/locking?
