Thanks for the review. I have the Zen turbo manual. It's great value for money and it encompasses a decent spectrum of features, for the price. Couple of shortfalls but to be expected at the price. The lack of lighting in the boot compartment, the exposed floor well, lack of cupholders in the front, difficult to access front seatbelt clips and the below par quality of the interior plastics (scratch easily) are in my opinion the only downfalls. More positives though than negatives as the car looks amazing, is fuel economical, drives well enough, good spec and value, roomy and storage space is excellent.

I’m sure it would be a popular choice for road trips so the way it handles gravel would be an important factor.

Hi Bipin. In terms of safety it does come equipped with airbags and ABS and EBD. I am not sure about the build quality of the exterior but I can tell you that the interior build quality is of a budget car. Due to the price the interior build quality is compromised a bit. Its adequate inside, its not the absolute best but it is not bad either. In terms of issues, what are you specifically concerned about? You are most welcome to ask specific questions about any of your concerns?

@@MotoringAndTechWorld thank you for the response, my main concern is, as I heard from many KZbinrs that kiger has an issue with its mudflaps, like during monsoon water and muds are getting inside the tail lights and doors as the sealent of the doors are not upto the mark..

@@MotoringAndTechWorld The Kiger for me is a paradox because prior to it being introduced i was really keen on the Sandero Stepway and they stopped selling it and gave us the Kiger, at first the car looked like a huge version of the kwid, and i did not like it.

@@samueltshabalala8775 the Sandero Stepway seems really popular here in Cape Town from what I see on the roads. The Kwid has lots of critics. And if the Kiger looks like a big Kwid then that is not a great start from an exterior point of view. It seems like Renault was targeting a very specific market when it priced the Kiger as it did. There are both pros and cons in this Kiger model. I am actually excited to see what improvements Renault make when they launch their 2022 Kiger model in South Africa. It would be good to get the perspective from owners of the current Kiger model.

Prices differ depending on when the video was filmed and the price used. The price I used was correct at the time of filming but subsequently the prices have gone up. I’m not sure what the current price is at the moment. Starting price I used was the entry level model with no add ons. What’s your thoughts on the Renault Kiger?

@@MotoringAndTechWorld Red and black, I upgraded the tyres, added sound blocking seal on doors, added spring cushion on all four tyres, added body side cladding, added oem roof carrier, using dust absorbing mats, after adding spring cushion and tyre upgrade the gc is significantly increased by 1.75 inches
