The car has been in the family since 2011, purchased after an accident. It's possible that the engine was replaced due to the collision, but it's undocumented, so I assume the engine is original. Until 2021, a woman (a staunch eco-driving advocate) drove the car, putting strain on it with low revs in city driving, often staying in lower gears, e.g., 50km/h in 5th or 6th gear, and engine braking until the car jerked. While this gentle driving had its merits, ensuring the engine wasn't overstressed, it led to wear and tear on the timing mechanism, accessories, clutch, and engine and gearbox dampening (repair costs ultimately exceeded 6000 PLN). The previous owner regularly changed the oil and filters every 10,000 km, using manufacturer-recommended oil.
In March 2021, I took over the car, gradually investing in it and "unmuddying" it. In the first few weeks of driving, the car occasionally stalled when accelerating on slight inclines and struggled to pick up speed on straight stretches. Under my ownership, the car has undergone four oil and filter changes (changes rigidly every 10,000 km). During the 2nd and 3rd changes, the engine was flushed with TEC2000 Engine Flash, followed by TEC2000 Oil Booster to neutralize any remaining residues. Additionally, two to three times a year, I add TEC2000 and ProTec additives, which, in my personal tests, perform the best.
At least once a month, the car embarks on a very intensive 200 km trip. On a daily basis, starting from March 2023, the car covers around 20 km due to a change in workplace. Intensive journeys usually occur during the summer months (July-September), where I can often cover 3000 km in a month, traveling up to 200 km at a time. In September 2023, shortly after installing a new map, the car completed two intense trips from Bielsko-Biała to Bratislava and from Bielsko-Biała to Benešov near Prague, covering 1400 km in two days.
Considering Renault dominates my family (cars from 2006 to 2016), I assume the manufacturer's interval for oil changes, which in this case would be standard 30,000 km.
Additionally, supporting this assumption are pieces of information from these websites:
