in 2024 I went to A maruti showroom la on a weekend in Bangalore there is hardly two customer during afternoon time though but in Renault there is 4-5 people which I feel is good it's all bcz of Triber , few percent to Kwid and Now Kiger is attracting too bcz of turbo engine. If their after sales is decent they can do good in Indian car market

One of the major step back or mistake Reno did was Captur disconnect, at the tym of it's launch it had the best features and best looking, but when the segment boom, they disconnected the car, they also didn't concentrated on the Duster's upgrade too... If at all Reno decides to bring the captur also with Duster it would be good relief and can give Reno a good stand in Indian market...

Hi you have given a valuable analysis to the car manufacturer. Hope the company should open their eyes for the Indian market if they want to grow in India. Look at the TATA who changed their entire strategy to offer better quality to match the level of European car makers and offer all segment cars with safety features to catch the numbers. Low budget, big space was only their earlier strategy without quality, nobody want to even review Tata cars. But today it is not so. They are ready to meet any competition. Earlier peoples mind of every one used to say Tata cars are bought only by the taxi people. Anyway keep up your good work going… I liked the way presented. All the best to you and your team.

Renault were testing Arkana in India but none of it materialise into launch.. The Triber needs the turbo petrol engine from Kiger which would make it a usable MPV on highways.. The kwid needs an update with better fit and finish...anyone who test drives a Tiago would be wooed to spend a little extra for the difference in quality... Their spares like timing belt is very costlyfor their below 10 lac category of cars... Though the Duster was a functionally capable car the rattles make old dusters feel even a generation older.. Internationally and in India Hyundai and Kia are pushing Volkswagen in terms of fit and finish on smaller cars.. Renault clearly lacks in that department.. The Kiger is a decent VFM offering but if they don't refine the product with periodic facelifts the sales might slump and with volatility in Indian market, one bad year could potentially mean an exit from our market..

It is like a Catch 22 situation. You cannot make more investments without more sales. Renault sales is not good. They survive only because of exports to Right hand drive markets. As you said Duster and Kwid did not have newer updates. When we decided to buy a budget car, we test drove Kwid along with Tata Tiago. My son felt Kwid was cramped compared to Tiago. So we went for Tata

Neenga solra negative like sedan, ev elam avangaloda draw back but sedan na it will be costlier again. So avanga current scope eh under 10 lakh budget car buyers if they satisfy this consistently they can definitely survive in India bcz in india middle class is more. But duster drop is a big drawback to them but duster will come soon I hope🤞
