You changed the friction-area of the tyre. Previously it was 165mm, now it’s 185mm. That means 20mm more rubber is rubbing with asphalt. Hence your mileage will definitely drop a bit. Understand or I have to explain further?

We are driven the Company Tyres Of Ceat Approx 500+ And the new Tyres Of Michelin XM2 It's very Stable Than Previous Tyres And As such no Any Problems with Breaking And fuel efficiency 👍 And Tell me Any other Info you need i cover that topic in Video

I changed in my rxl model after 16000@ceat shop into 185/70 R14...it's gave confidence at turns and improve breaking. Now road grip become excellent. No efficiency change in city but drop 0.5 kmpl drop in highway.I still getting 18-20 kmpl in highway. Total cost 11200/- with replaced old tyre. It's worthy for safety and comfortable drive. Ceat fuelsmart 165/80 to milage m3 185/70 ...must recommended for highway drive.
