Renegade Rear Diff Fluid Change Cam-Am ATV (How-To Replace Final Drive Oil) By BOOK

See tools, parts, torque specs, and of course the step-by-step procedure MADE EASY on how to replace the rear diff fluid (Final Drive Oil Change) in you Can-Am Renegade or Can-Am Outlander.
This procedure should be very similar for changing the rear diff oil on most renegades and outlanders. After checking a bunch of operators guides it looks like most if not all use the same 75w140 for rear diff. Only difference is some machines rear diff oil CAPACITY IS 250ML while others, like the 2014 Can-Am Renegade 1000 used in this vid oil CAPACITY IS 300ML so be sure to always have and check operators guide when preforming maintenance on your machine

3:29 Re-Install Drain Plug (ONLY 5 Ft. LBs. of Torque)
4:00 Re-install Lower Diff Bolt(If Necessary) (66Ft. Lbs. of Torque)
4:39 Add 300ml or 250ml of 75w140
5:37 Correct Level for the Rear Diff
6:25 Re-Install Fill Plug (17 Ft. Lbs of Torque)
6:40 Check For Leaks

Final Drive Oil Change Job Overview:
Maintenance Interval: 50-100 Hours
Rear Diff Capacity 300ml or 250ml
Rear Diff Fluid Type: Full Synthetic 75w140 Gear Oil
Time Required: 1-2 Beers (20-40 Minutes)
Difficulty: EASY

hey great question! Life got crazy the last couple years and have found myself in some fairly major construction projects here at the compound. Not to worry as soon as I get this cabin dried in I'll be back in the shop and at the desk editing vids. Have gotten some good footage of some of our property maintenance jobs and might post some of that stuff too.
