As someone with a huge part of their family being English... You have NO idea how often I have to translate the differences of what my grandmother says, with what other people understand, it gets chaotic sometimes. You sometimes come across people who are so bent on not hearing any other version of something besides what they have called it, and I've met those people many times, such as one older woman who got into an argument with my grandmother OVER the whole biscuit differences. Only got worse because my grandmother has a thick accent, a lisp, and dentures.

Just incase you were wondering he was doing a subharmonic and an overtone at the same time (they are both a form of throat singing ) they both involve playing 2 notes at once . If he has put them together he is playing 3 notes all at 1 time . I can also do subharmonic overtones but he did it so flawlessly it's insane

I once tried to do a front flip on a trampoline as a kid when everyone else was inside, and just this one time, I accidentally only did half a flip. I was bouncing as high as I could to try to complete a front flip, and instead, I landed directly upside-down on my head on the trampoline. There was a jarring sensation in my chest, I couldn’t breathe for almost a full minute, and I think I almost broke my neck, and nobody was there to see it happen. Please always supervise children on trampolines.

I know it's a bit late to be sending this after 8 months . But just incase you didn't know . He is using 2 different types of throat singing . An overtone and a subharmonic . Which means he is playing 3 notes at once . It's a subharmonic with the whistle of a overtone on top . I can also do it but not as flawlessly as he did
3 жыл бұрын
@@joeswanson7634 o i didn't knew it's so cool lucky u guys i can't do that heh
@joeswanson76343 жыл бұрын
@just some tips on how to do it . Subharmonic: it is a mix of chest voice and vocal fry (if you don't know what they are search it up) start of by using a vocal fry and then most people say relax and let it slip into it . But I disagree for me I sort of apply more pressure (that does not mean tense your throat) and try and project outwards more . Another way of putting it is do a vocal fry and just then try and produce chest voice at the same time . For overtones: you just need to say you-ee-oo-ee-oo-you-ee-oo . And by doing this the overtone sound should come naturally over the top of it . The whistle sound isn't something you can really control . By that I mean your place decides the whistle (the oo part is where I have my strongest and loudest whistle . So it like playing an instrument you can just make the sound you want you've got to make the right shapes ect to make the right whistle . And then when you can do both you are then able to attempt to merge them together . (I'm 15 and only learnt to do the subharmonic overtone last week . )
