@@hunterculpepper1973 1. Spyro doesn't just have one move based around each of his elements like Hero does so he would've been fine in that regard 2. If you think the canonical power level of the character is what stopped them from adding him then clearly you don't have any idea how strong Joker or Kirby are.

It's obvious who was gonna win but fans continued to request that battle so eventually they was going to make it, both are incredibly tough in strength and defense but difference is spyro all around has more versatile abilities without needing a machine. Flying for one among elemental attacks and his dark form if worse comes to worse, that's why when this battle first dropped I was always confused on the people who thought crash was going to come out on top.

Certain Spyros never learned different elements, with the Skylanders Spyro being stifled under non-Dragon parenting. Also Skylanders Spyro learns lightning in Skylanders Academy when he is turned into dark Spyro
