There is already a third faction in the 1st game, they're floating aliens with hardlight tech and are called "The Illuminate" Which is most likely the next faction to come to Helldivers 2

Landing on a 7 plus difficulty guarantees youll be swarmed upon landing even in a non danger area

Theres a 3rd enemy race called The Illuminate in the first game and you can see them mentioned in news strips on the tv in your ship sometimes.

I kinda feel the opposite. I think the automatons are easier to deal with than the terminids. For the most part I can keep my distance. Either way, this game has been incredible even in solo

@@SyedAmmarYassar for me personally, the hulks with the flamethrower and dropships are the biggest nuisance of that list. Devastators can be taken down quick with a short burst to the face in-between their barrages. Orbital rail cannon deletes everything or a couple impact grenades will work on towers and tanks but also a last resort. Shredder tanks suck though. The recoilless rifle can one shot a hulk if you get them squarely in the face otherwise two will do it. Biggest bastard of all the clankers is the regular ass trooper with the rocket launcher. They've been more precise and deadly than a rocket devastator especially if there's more than one. For the most part my hit and run tactics work well and it feels like I'm constantly living the stars wars scene of Han running from 50 stormtroopers. Bugs however I have a grudge against all except the scavengers and warriors.
