So I'm actually going to have to disagree. Pomni was intent on finding Caine to help Ragatha, however as soon as the option to leave the Circus presented itself Pomni took it. Her attracting Caine's attention by venturing out into the void was just a lucky coincidence.

@@bungiecrimes7247 I do have to agree that I take issue with the fact that Ragatha brought it up though, so I agree with Nate on that. You see she "forgave" pomni, but the way she did it seemed insincere. So the only thing she did was remind Pomni of what she did.

she did keep trying right up until seeing the door again, and she did hesitate but ultimatly did chose to try leaving by her self, which is selfish... but understandable givin that shed already seen the door can vanish in seconds when not used, knowing that, it was ether take the chance to leave or possibly never see the door again... though wether she was even thinking that far is quationable.

Lets not mince words. Pomni abandoned Raggatha last episode. She had NO idea Caine would be in the "Exit" door. She was in a world of madness, hoped it was a dream, and went for the nearest way out. She did try to help at first, but it was only because Caine makes sure not to have anyone stay in the Void that he came back to help. Do I blame her for trying to leave? No. But we can't just gloss over the fact she did.

I don't think you guys remember how it went down if you say Ragatha is inaccurate in her description. She didn't have to word it that way, but it wasn't wrong. Pomni looked for Caine because Ragatha told her that he could fix her. But once she saw the exit, *she bailed.* plain and simple. What happened after was purely on Caine's whim since Pomni changed her priority from "save Ragatha" to "escape".

I thought of it too and never even played the game. The Great Might Poo was in EVERY Video Game Top 10 I watched like ten years ago. I thought it was hilarious at first, but after the third time all I could think was "Alright it's funny we get it can we shut up about him now?"

Lol was the first thing I thought of when I first watched this episode. I like this episode. I don't know if its just me but I feel the beginnings of an overarching plot in some stuff, but also the humor is great!

Who knows… what could happen…” I imagine the person that created Caine had a copy of themselves in the circus as a test and it started thinking of itself as the real version, so they both argued about who was the real creator and Caine accidentally deleted his creators mind, leaving anyone who wanders into the digital realm to be trapped forever and Caine is just trying to make amends for his actions by satiating the people that enter the digital plane

He’s created rather emotionally complex AIs so I assume his own disconnection from sadness and madness is a coping mechanism after all he’s gone through and he’s trying to constantly pretend everything’s okay

​@@GlytchGames Funny enough, Caine often seems as close to a mental breakdown as Pomni and just as anxious. And despite him clearly caring about the humans and his role in the circus, he also seems to leave them to themselves whenever he can, not actually watching them much, which might be do to him getting overwhelmed with his work. At least the way he threw them into the adventure in this episode, only to immediately result to smoking once they're gone, reminded me of an overworked parent, that throws his kids out of the house, so he can have some peace and quiet for the evening.

I think its all a facade. His toxic behavior seems to be his coping mechanism. The events he's been through have made him jaded and nihilistic. Regardless of that he still protected Kinger and Gangle from Kaufmo in the pilot, plus he was upset before the funeral. I'm sure he'll eventually soften up a little bit once he can form a connection with Pomni.

Technically, Caine IS God. He's the AI who makes everything in-game. The Fudge was likely inspired by The Greedy. Gooseworx likes the Raggedy-Ann movie. From the little I've seen of it, it seems accurate.

You forget Ponmi ran off for the exit immediately once she found it, didn't you? You didn't watch these things in succession obviously, but how did you forget that? Not to mention, Ponmi saw her twice cause she hid from the abstract clown before going back to see what to with Rag, and that's when she took trying to find the exit over helping Rag when she found it. So, yeah. Just plain wrong about how that went down.

Depends. If the program is allowed to continuing doing its machine learning or if the current version saves and is used later then he'd have his old memories. But if you take the version of that AI you started with, copy-paste it, and start anew then he would be back to where he was before the adventure as it is effectively a different being. Kind of like a game with multiple save files.
