to be fair, many gelatins in Asian countries are made with agar agar instead of actual gelatin. Agar agar is made from algae, so it's vegan friendly. Though she may have just made an exception for the trip like she mentioned earlier. Also, check out Alpharad's video of the event he posted a few months back. You get a clearer issue of how hard their wallets were hit XD

6:35 the crazy thing is when my family took a trip to Spain we didn’t want to rent a car so we took train, bus, and Uber, but the thing was the food there was better than the food in America them not having preservatives makes them richer and tastier, and for about a week of walking, and eating the non processed food, make me go down to 262 pounds for reference before I went to Spain I was 282 pounds, nowadays I’m likely at 270 pounds but I can’t go down because of them many processed food that occurrs from time to time, but the food that is never given chemicals making them becoming more better than American food is very jarring to me and I love Europe for making the chemicals that companies in America used to be a federal offense in Europe 23:30 also Mihawk being Jaiden Animations favorite makes too much sense, bc think about it he’s a secluded introverted swordsman who lives in the most dangerous island full of baboons who can wield swords and has little to no friends, this character is my favorite because he’s sorta like jaiden, likes to be alone, but badass 😎

Japan typically uses Agar Agar (a type of gelatin made from seaweed) in deserts, rather than bone based kind we use in the US. I know from years of watching videos of Japanese food cooking videos on youtube, as well as food network. My favorite was always "Cooking with Dog" but I haven't been able to watch it much since Francis (the dog) passed away. T-T

To say I am jealous of Jaiden would be a GROSS understatement. I literally haven't been back to Japan since my first trip there for over a DECADE. I have been hoping to arrange a trip for all that time, and every time I've had the sliver of hope, which then gets fed for several months, it has always come crashing down, killing my joy severely. I so desperately want to return to Japan, even if only for a week, I am getting that desperate. She did reawaken some nostalgia when she mentioned the Spider-Man interactive ride. I went on that twice when I was in Japan back in 2012. And I do not judge her on the impulse buying. We'd needed an spare extra large suitcase ourselves buy the end of our trip with how much I bought. Yeah, I went with my dad and he is NOT an anime fan at all, so *I* was the sole reason we had to buy more luggage thanks to all the Japanese and anime stuff I was buying. I'd saved up for over a year after high school for that trip, I was NOT going to be idle with my spending, dammit! I went to both Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea, but things have obviously changed between the 2 in the last decade since I was there. Then again, Jaiden had more Disneyland experiences, whereas my only Disneyland experience prior to Tokyo Disneyland was Hong Kong Disneyland several weeks prior, so I didn't have a lot to compare for judgement. I also didn't have bad weather there, as we went in Autum at the tail end of September entering October, so there were no hot days for us. DID get caught in a monsoon between Nagoya and Tokyo though 😅. Her Japan videos are among the ones I keep coming back to whenever my homesickness for Japan gets too strong... which means I've probably racked up a lot of views on those videos over the last freaking DECADE! 🤞 I'll be returning to The Land of the Rising Sun before ANOTHER decade has passed and glad she had so much fun on hers... while also being exceedingly jealous

5:35 Not just that but they also walk everywhere and don’t only use cars. Japan is very walkable and their public transportation is a huge game changer. Not to mention their meal portions are also smaller than what’s served in the US. And yes despite that Japan also has a fair amount of preservatives in their food, a lot of it is likely cancerous but they’re able to catch that early on because their healthcare is a lot more available to the public and more competent in some ways then America’s.

I related to Jaiden's brief gambling-addiction stint. At my local arcade, i went through a bunch of my money from those coin & card-dropping games. IDK how much money i spent, but I managed to get a bunch of tokens and cards that I exchanged for tickets. I won over 10,000 tickets... then COVID happened. The arcade shut-down by the time everything opened back up. I never got to spend my fucking tickets.

If I ever found myself in Japan, I would have my trip focused on history and mythology. I would like to at least see Mount Oe, where the legendary Minamoto-no-Raiko slain the demon king Shuten-Doji in his temple.
