Another fantastic guide, thank you! One thing I struggle with that you didn't really cover here, is playing around his Q start at level 1. Might be more of a low elo thing (it feels like Darius starts Q more often down here), but when I go into the lane with the mindset of spacing with Q, I find I almost always get hit by his Qs. Do you position differently at level 1 after you see he starts Q? I also basically always go both DShield *and* Second Wind into Darius, assuming both were just too high value vs bleed not to take. I'll have to give DBlade a try.

I find it really easy when he starts Q, even if I don't manage to dodge any I still get push and am winning. It's ideal to auto him when he Q's if you can, focus on your movement before he Q's and stay one step ahead of him. But yea almost every high elo darius starts w and tries to play aggressive because Q start is losing for him since his cd is 2 seconds longer.

honestly I find w start very easy to deal with, I find q start harder, when they start w they usually try to all in me and what I do is I take dblade bone plating, I start q and if I can get 1 aa on a minion before the all in I win the all in in my minions (if I don't hit a minion I'm gonna be at 45 fury when I need to q 2nd time), but taking bone plating is kind of cheesy, if they don't try to all in you 2nd wind is probably better.

When I was more a ''beginner'' renekton this match up was hard, but now I have the feeling you just can't loose. Only reason I loose is when he pop ghost and 100-0 you because you were a bit too extanded. Barely happens if the darius isn't good, because most of the time I stomp him. But yes, I have played so much this match up that I really think that the match up is not that hard, except if the guy is super good.

Once you understand Darius he's pretty easy to play against as any bruiser. Only tanks really auto lose to him
