This was so incredible, it was almost somewhat modern day urban Shakespeare, little side street car park alleyway full of graffiti almost became a theatre when everyone filed out out, some people stood on the higher level of the car park to get a better view which made it look like the second level in the seated areas in any theatre, brilliant, immersive, artistic,thought provoking, powerful experience and I’ll never forget walking with that huge crowd of people through the streets of Brighton

The amazing live performance was expected from Ren. What surprised me and is my favorite part of the performance was the inclusion of the crime scene. Stuff like that elevates this from a concert to an art piece… the music alone would have been enough, but I love how Ren always adds visuals to really immerse you into the story.

Iv had a full hip replacement so a lovely couple helped me up and down. I appreciated the kind gesture. I use to be homeless in Brighton long time ago. By far, one of the toughest things a musician can do is a long solo performance--and do it so well like this, holding an audience's attention and truly entertaining everyone. Ren definitely has that gift! I've done a few solo shows in folk clubs and restaurants--and know how hard it can be--but Ren is on another level!

Wow, KZbin suggested Ren to me earlier this week. I am so glad they did as tonight's gig was wonderful. All those lucky people who saw Ren live, especially the two kids down the front. When they are my age (I am retired) they can boast about seeing such a great performance to youngsters, the same as I do about seeing Bowie on the Ziggy Stardust tour. I did notice how the crowd became hushed while Ren was singing Violet's Tale especially during the violent scene, That is down to the excellent story telling, acting and musical accompaniment....other words Ren. The whole story is spine chilling. So many people who one can feel sad for, and to me it is the copper Richard who had to do something he didn't want to do but to save himself had to. I also like that my imagination has to work out what happened to Jenny and Screech between being born and their fateful meeting. I do hope Ren doesn't fill that gap in.

God, I wish I could’ve been there. While I only recently checked out your music cause of memes, I found your style of storytelling amazing. The acting and effort put into these performances, music videos, and even the Instagram stories a while back are phenomenal and unlike many others. If I could put it any way, it’s that it paints a harsh, yet not super cynical picture of these people. They all come from similar places, no matter how differently they may act. If I was there, I would’ve been singing along and being hyped with everyone else. I’m so happy for all those who were there and obviously had a great time. It’s so nice seeing the small yet large community you have around your music, which feels welcoming in this sort of environment. Truly a testament to how music works to bring people together. I hope someday I can watch one of your performances, or even just get to talk to you once. I think it’d be fun either way. Peace, man.
