I’m very curious . Doesn’t Jesus say that the generation who sees the beginning of these things will see the end? If the last days started at Pentecost, that generation is long gone

Matt 24:21 states great tribulation vs. 22 talks about the elect...us So how can a rapture take us when we are still here & the days are being shortened? What of verse 29..."Immediately after the tribulation" and vs. 30-remaining chapter of the SON of man coming in clouds? And right into Chapter 25 of the Virgins. Seems MUCH MORE SCRIPTURE supports us going through the tribulation than not. Even 1 Thess. 4 speaks of his coming to get us as in Matthew 24:30....SAME COMING! Please show me how you believe HE will come TWICE for the wording in Matt 24 is VERY CLOSELY WORDED like that of 1 Thess. 4.
