I came to the Lord asking for his blessings as a single mom because raising my son (Joel) was an act of courage despite all the challenges. And the Lord answered my prayers with a benefiting income of $31,000 every month. To God be the glory. Joel is in school and life's been fair lately.

25 years ago my daughter rejected me and turned her back on me and I've not seen her but once briefly at the funeral of her son and only child, my only grandchild. But we have prayed, stood on God's Word and believed the LORD for mercy and restoration for 25 years. Sometimes I cry and my heart aches but I have never quit believing in God's great and precious promises. It is grievously difficult but I know He hears my cry. This sermon encouraged and strengthened me Thank you,

As a Mom and Grandmother, my heart grieves with you. GOD graced us with 1 child for 37 yrs. He had 1 child, a daughter. She was with my hubby and I so much, people thought she was born late in our lives or we adopted her. She was our shadow. Our son passed away suddenly in 2016 and her parents weren't together anymore. But she was still our shadow. Unfortunately her Mom is bipolar and has created a rift between us. Then our granddaughter turned her back on GOD and us. We haven't seen her since 2019. She didn't contact us when her great grandmother, my Mom passed away or our 50th wedding anniversary. We will go to our graves praying for our granddaughter to open her heart and eyes to the free gifts offered by GOD. If possible, come back to us as well. May your daughter open her eyes and heart to GOD and return to your lives as well. May GOD bless

The realization of who God is, knowing what His will is. The manifestation of tongues is the gateway to understanding. The Spirit helping our weakness aka infirmity.

My daughter has not spoken to me in 10 years. The pain, nevertheless God’s faithfulness of guarantee comfort and joy has been my greatest strength during these difficult times! I’m still grateful, still believing, still hoping, still praying, still receiving, still knowing God’s Word will not fail. His promises are guaranteed!! Me and my household shall be saved…

Hearing this day the perseverance of each to hold His course for our generations and His progeny to come, full in faith. Faith is evidenced in perseverance, the quality of certain Jews for 4000 years now...with a few stumbling, trips and falls.... but His Promises are YES and Amen.

What exactly is " praying in tongues"?
@marshaparham7286Күн бұрын
Submitting the tongue to His will. I find this can be done behind the 'curtains of my lips', where no one sees or hears. The tongue moves and works behind enemy lines and often shows us more. Paul says I do this more than you all...and he knew warfare! 1 Cor 14. Good Word.

How do you pray in tongues?
@lukeweaver9287Күн бұрын
It's a gift of the Holy Spirit. There are many helpful videos on here about it.

Ask the Holy Spirit and be open to Him using you in that way.

Seek and find, ask it will be opened... Mark 16:15-18 sparked the question for me many years ago. Jesus opened it quickly.

I was raised in the Methodist faith but not big city churches: very small congregations of less than 100. They frowned on speaking in tongues. I spent my summers with my grandparents. We attended every Summer Vacation Bible School that we could walk to within a 4 mile radius regardless of faith. If a church was having a Revival, we went. The Assembly of GOD church spoke in tongues which totally confused us. My family would sit us down and tell us we had to pray for them for causing confusion by speaking gibberish. Hubby and I now attend a non-denominational church that does speak in tongues. How do you get past years of being told: It's gibberish and bad? May GOD bless

Yes its a gift of the HolySpirit, However, unsaved people who have not been indwelled by the HolySpirit and your speaking in toungs in public is scary and easily misunderstood! Be careful about this.

Ask the Holy Spirit. Be open to Him using you in this way. I joined a church that prayed in tongues corporately. I wanted it and opened myself to the Holy Spirit and it started.
