I read the book of Enoch bout 20yrs ago and I knew it was legit. It made so much sense and it also connected the dots in Genesis 6👍🏻this series is much needed in this generation and it is right on time. I’ve read Michael Heiser’s books on this and they make sense until I contemplate how angels have seed, although they can eat, etc. Peter also said, when did God ever call an angel a son? So hummm. In Hebrew the word angel is not used but a word for human man. So I get confused!

I've never found any Bible scholar who would or could offer an answer to my question: I have long wanted to know why the SEPTUAGINTAL VERSUS MASORETIC CHRONOLOGY IN GENESIS 5 AND 11 assign the patriarchs vastly differing ages. The Gospel for the N.T. Age of Grace/Church Age is 1 Cor. 15: 1-4 KJV. Other verses: Rom. 3: 25 KJV, Rom. 3: 23 KJV, Rom. 10: 6&10 KJV and Ephesians 2: 8-10 KJV. It's what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us that we're saved and it's by faith alone, not works. We're forgiven for all sins by the Lord Jesus Christ's shed blood. Amen!! I’ve always understood the sons of God to refer to the line of Adam via Seth. The sons of men to refer to the line of Cain. His line began the taking of more than one wife. Also the word translated ‘ giants ‘ in Genesis translates ‘ fellers’ or those who cut down others, violent, bullies. Differing from the reference to Goliath. Besides the fact that, all but 8 , were wiped out in the flood. I know they teach this in seminaries, but they teach a lot, that isn’t correct. Jesus said when questioned, who’s wife shall she be, said you do ere concerning the scripture. For then you shall be as the angels, neither giving or being given in marriage. Man was created in the image/ likeness of God. Being given the authority to procreate. Being commanded to. The leaving of their first estate, was being created to obey the Lord, they instead rebelled and followed Lucifer. Hello, I respectfully think Pastor you’ve missed it. Angels are NOT the sons of God. The Hebrew word for angels is Malik. The Hebrew for sons of God is ha Ben Elohim. Most scholars including you categorize the sons of God as angels. I beg to differ. We are the sons of God. Go to 1 Samuel 28:13-14 where King Saul goes to the witch of Endor and calls up the prophet Samuel who had died. Look at the Hebrew that says, “I saw a god (Samuel) coming up out of the earth. Also go to Psalm 29:1 and John 10:34-36 where the sons of God are mentioned.

The Bible never said angels slept with the daughters of men. It only said that the sons of God slept with the daughters of men. Who then we're these sons of God? They were the children of Enoch who was the only person at that time that knew the true God. His children after him,were living holy lives as taught them by their father Enoch. And so,as they began to move around and came across the children of Cain,they found out that the female children of Cain were beautiful to behold. So they began to lust after them, and the result was that they abandoned their sanctification and went after them. Thereby corrupting their blood. The Bible didn't say that the Nephillim were the result of such intimacy but that at the same time these children of Enoch were doing this, the Nephillim were also in existence. Read the passage very well to understand. The angels that abandoned their former possition,refers to the battle that Michael and his angels fought with Satan and his angels which brought about what we see in Genesis chapter 1. The book of Enoch has nothing to do with the Bible. It is a ploy by Satan to make sure that the narrative of the Bible, is not seen as authentic. Giants are not as a result of angelic mating with human women. It is just a result of human cell rapid multiplication. The Bible says:"Since they didn't like to retain God in their knowledge, he therefore, gave them over that they may believe a lie." Jesus Christ said that in the resurrection, they neither marry nor are given in marriage but are like angels, which means that angels don't, and can't reproduce. It is only the physical creatures that reproduce their kind. Angels were created individually by God. No 2 are the same but they are all sexless beings.
