I had a lot of his teachings on cassette tape, still have them in storage as I have such a small home right now, but I look forward to going each time and getting a teaching series out. Amen this is so good. Year ago I was addicted to smoking. I began to seek the Lord for the promised freedom in Christ as no matter what I did I could not get free, so I stopped trying and began searching the word for some clue as to how to experience the promised freedom. One day after studying the new life in Christ and Romans 8, the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ has set me free from the law of sin and death for many months with total expectation that God would not fail me....I had a revelation of the reality the Jesus lives in me, and Jesus is NOT addicted! That's when something like a nuclear explosion happened inside of me and those chains came OFF!!!! And yes, it had a demonic source as does all addictive behavior that enslaves us be it a thought or behavior. But Jesus is a Savior and He came to set captives free. Praise God!

@@Disciple-ofChrist Yes, I am free! I found it impossible to stop on my own willpower but began desperately seeking freedom in Christ. When we seek God, we WILL find him, but you cannot stop short of it. I made a video on my channel about it if you are interested. The cross is triumph over the power os sin, and God wants you to live in the freedom, and He alone can do it in you. Seed HIS power!

Pastor Renner-Thank you for this teaching on Ephesians 6:10-13. I put these notes in the back of the book "Dressed to Kill". I have listened to this multiple times. God has used you to answer some long standing questions I've had about the verses and about the Church. We need to commit, organize, and be disciplined to bring the light of the Truth of the Gospel and share our testimony to a lost and dying world. We have the victory. It was given to us when Jesus said, "It is finished" on the cross. My brothers and sisters in Christ, keep your gaze focused on Jesus, remain standing, and stay alert in prayer! Praise the Lord! 40 years ago when we got saved we had consecration services at the end of the service. It helped saints stay committed and disciplined. It's missing today so folks are loose and undisciplined in their walk with Jesus and we have a weak church and many fall away.

True, the church is anemic! I received Jesus 4 yrs ago and have learned very little in the church. Now I know why Jesus rebuked the churches in Revelation. 80% of what I have learned has been on my own by Holy Spirit leading me into truth.

I get the military concept where Paul was drawing a picture to explain things. From what I have read and understood is that it is the Holy Spirit who puts the members of the body of Christ in the places they are to be. As such , we need to be careful in the correlation to a tight military system as to how a church should be run. There is always a danger in giving to a body of men as overseers complete control without question. Jesus himself said that He would build His church and the gates of hell shall not prevail. Lastly, I turn to Revelation where it states, " And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and the word of their testimony". Structure and the necessity of it does not supersede these facts as written in scripture.

There is "ruling spirits and powers" all over the Earth,in every region,in every space.l This is how Satan was able to say to Jesus how he was able to " give him the Kingdoms of the Earth, because they were GIVEN TO HIM". GOD gave Man the Earth to rule, but man gave the Earth to the Devil through Sin. Sin caused man to fall, giving OWNERSHIP OVER TO SATAN AND HIS ARMY OF EVIL SPIRITS. However, the Lord is in control, and God has pronounced sentence upon the Enemy of Man. God is merciful to man, giving him a chance to repent and accept his love and mercy...to be saved. Satan knows this, and has ramped up his attacks, through his army of wicked spirits.
