According to the Mayan calender the world was supposed to end on 21 December 2012. Against this backdrop, the Radio Kalahari Orkes (band) goes on tour with their "mobile studio".
A whacky series of events interspersed with live performances of their greatest hits, sees them encountering a ghost, a seriously bad guy that seems to be some sort of alien. The rhino horn sniffing alien abducts the female lead singer and the band has to come to the rescue
