No, Blizzard has always worked like that. The wording on the card implies that Blizzard only freezes creatures it damages, but this is not the case. Making the rules text on the card actually explain exactly how it functions isn't a strong suit of Hearthstone's. EDIT: I previously thought that blizzard would freeze the ooze off Sludge Belcher (could have sworn I saw that happen), but was corrected later in the conversation. The freeze effect ONLY happens to minions created because of 'on-damage' effects, like the Imp Gang Boss.

15dmg from missiles, 7 from rhonin, 1 from ping and 1 from fatigue = 24dmg, 19 + 5 sylvanas health = 24 so lethal but i don't actually now, if sylvanas deathrattle triggers does rhonin takes missiles damage?

You need to rewatch the video his opponent starts the turn at 19 health not 12. Savjz had the choice to hit his opponent and take him from 19 life to 12 life or trade with sylvanas. So the situation is the opponent at 19 life and with a 5 hp minion on board. He has an RNG lethal if 12/15 missiles hit face and then he hits face with Rhonin for exactly 19 damage which is highly unlikely. If he trades Rhonin with sylvanas his opponent is at 19 health and has a 2 health minion left on board after sylvanas deals 5 damage to Rhonin and then steals him. That's 21 total health for the arcane missiles to hit and he only has 15 damage from the missiles in hand + 1 from fatigue + 1 from ping which is 17. The best possible line for guaranteed lethal setup is trade Rhonin, ping stolen Rhonin, arcane explosion to kill Rhonin and shoot 15 arcane missiles off which all hit face. That leaves his opponent at 19(starting health) - 15(missiles) -1(fatigue) so 3 total health. He then definitely gets a ping next turn because he has ice block and the opponent takes 2 fatigue setting his health to 0. He also has more ice blocks meaning his opponent will have to take a further 3 and 4 fatigue damage over the next 2 turns + 2 pings so he definitely couldn't have outhealed him which is guaranteed lethal. there is no guarenteed lethal on that turn only highly unlikely lethal which would potentially lose you the game if it went wrong as your opponent then has a full health rhonin and you've only set him to 5 health.

1:30 I would have played the Ice Block over Ping 10/10 times. It could have been every secret and the Warlock would have had to play around it. There was no reason to Ping there.

BeFoRe It's best to delay the iceblock, other wise you're floating mana and wasting damage. It's very likely that that the iceblock won't be used for a while, so pinging is the better option as it keeps you hand big, thus making the opponent be more cautious about plays as well.

7:25 If he was one off lethal wouldn't he have had to spend 13 mana? He would have had to play blizzard and arcane blast, 5 mana, to clear the board first so as he could push all the remaining damage to face. Then savage roar, 3 arcane missiles and hero power is 12 damage, one off, but costs another 8 mana. Edit : then I watched on, no need to reply!!

The chance of it being lethal is way less than him jsut blowing his hand on killing one imp gang boss and push face damage versus a reno deck. Skillful play in card games = taking the line of play that makes you most likely to win, and that definitely wasn't it.

So I think it was a missed lethal, the turn after the enemy played Sylvanas, but I'm not 100% sure. Someone check my math? 1: Attack Rhonin into Sylvanas. Sylv steals Rhonin at 2hp + 19hp face = 21hp total on enemy's board. Cost: 0mana 2: Play Arcane Explosion to reduce Rhonin to 1hp + 19hp face = 20hp total on enemy's board. Cost 1mana 3: Ping Rhonin to remove him from board and leave opponent with 19hp total. Cost 3mana total so far. 4: Play all 6 Arcane Missiles. With no other targets on board, all go face. 6copies x 3dmg each = 18 damage total. 19 - 18 = opponent at 1hp. Mana cost so far: 9 End turn. Opponent takes fatigue. Win game.
