My takeaway from this is that the Greek life is something for people to believe in when they don’t believe in anything else more powerful to believe in. They honor and believe in the founders and believe that they’re empowered by their sacrifices and don’t see Christ as their source.

Thanks for this. I had an overall good experience with the D's, but then, that ritual though. The renouncement felt like a divorce. I grieved the exiting process, but I had to make the decision that I cannot put anything before or with God. I renounced 2022 as well. Thank you for this.

What an insight to something I did not know anything about pledging. When I was ready to go to college, God, literally guided my steps to a Christian college. God is amazing. I encouraged you to keep doing what you're doing to wake peeps up to what the devil is doing to peeps of color. A lot of peeps who pledge to Greek organizations are starting to wake up to denounce the evil deceptions of how satan works. God Bless

The only thing I would add is that there are no Divine Nine members or Freemasons in Heaven. None! Membership in these orgs will guarantee you Hell Fire. . . for eternity. Ashton makes a great point about Jesus’ approach to selection of his disciples. They were affirmed, attended to, edified, corrected in love, encouraged to show respect and love to all people, and be completely sold out for God. There was no other business to address outside of that-the disciples were all in with Jesus because His demonstration fully persuaded them that there was nothing on this earth that could quench their thirst, devoid them of attachments for the things of this world, or offer them the confirmation of their divine identity. My dream as a little girl from Wisconsin was to go to a HBCU and to join the DST… while at my HBCU I did not join DST and I’ve always been bummed about. As I got older parent of me still wanted to be apart of that organization, even up until last year my BF was at a Juneteenth celebration working detail with his job and he got the information for me. Listen to you Men talk I thank God this was something I never took priority in wanting to do. I am very selective about my faith, there are some preacher I don’t listen to because it doesn’t sit right with me. To have to pledge and do some of these things you speak of… I would have walked out lol absolutely not!!!
