Thank you two so much for this video! We have been talking about transitioning to full-time RV life when we're able to get back to the states and this has been so helpful! We literally have a wish list of things we want in one after this video! My favorite part of your RV was the breakfast nook where your TV hides. Where do you get something like that made? We are total noobs. Also, we saw the wooden pieces in the shape of Florida and the art work from Orlando! Daniel is from Gainesville, and I'm from Miami! It made my heart so warm seeing that in your home! Anywho, I hope that your adventure through Mexico is still going strong even through this covid mess and sending tons of well wishes your way! :)

I replied to this but for some reason my comment isn't there anymore! So sorry, promise we're not ignoring you. We love full time RV life, it's a great way to travel full time and have the comfort of home right there with you. We had our friends at trimmed out inc in St. Pete, FL help us customize the desk. We're not very good at wood work so any big jobs (like the pantry addition and the desk) we had friends and family members help us with. Awesome that you both are native Floridians too :) Wishing you all the best of luck on your journey which ever way that takes you!

It looks like you set up the permanent bed by putting a frame underneath the mattress that bridged that central cut-out area. Did you find one that let you remove the legs, leave the legs folded up, what? I'm hoping to do something similar and I'm trying to figure it out!
@EatSeeTV4 жыл бұрын
Hi Caer! Actually the bed platform you see is what the manufacturer installed in our class c at the factory. The bed platform does have two shocks that will lock it in a raised position, making it easier to get in and out of the front seats. We just leave it down all of the time though as we're both fairly short, lol, and ducking under it isn't a bother. - Dennis ✌️

well done! Your hard work really paid off! I thought you may have forgotten to mention the slide out when you did the interior tour - how is the space with the slide in? Finally, if you could share the costs of the RV and the renovation (and labor time if you know it)? I think you've done a great job!! Congrats and have a great time in Mexico!

Awesome job. Really love the look. Very refreshed. We have a 2009 Fleetwood Icon and are just starting our renovation. Curious about the flooring. Did you use a laminate or vinyl. We stated looking at laminate for the entire area. But it will add 140 lbs. With a11030-lb GVWR, every pound matters. If we do new flooring we will remove the original vinyl flooring which should shed some weight but I’m not sure how much and whether it justifies adding the heavier laminate --though it sure would make our rig look great. Any thoughts about the weight issue. Did you pull out your old flooring and, if so, could you guess how much the old floor weighed?

If you're going to Mexico you should really invest in a good water filtration system. In fact pretty much anyone using an RV needs a water filtration system especially for their drinking water and a filter on your shower head would also be a good idea because your skin absorbs the same things that you're not wanting to swallow.

How does customizing effect resale value? I want to paint cabinets but want also to protect resale. Thoughts?
@EatSeeTV3 жыл бұрын
There's a buyer out there for everyone. Maybe don't go as bold with pink as we did, but with all of our customizations, upgrades, and improvements we can sell our RV for way more than we bought it for. It's really a personal choice. Also, resale value doesn't go up really in RVs. These babies depreciate like they're going out of style. We think do what makes you happy in it. If you design it well it will likely sell far faster than a standard RV would. - Liz

Hey guys. Glad for you to finally show us your renovation. I’m looking forward to the videos with your Mexico travels. You mentioned using a sheet for over the cab. Can you please send the link to what you purchased or tell me approximately what it cost? I think you said that it was a Beddy Brand, but I didn’t seem to see the size that would be needed for over the cab unless I missed it. I would greatly appreciate your help. I have a sprinter diesel with the cab bed also. Thanks for sharing all of your renovations and upgrades with us.
