last not but least from having a few now, while I don't know all cat breeds, I can saw that tuxedo cats are like mediators/peacemakers and Nanas in general/ very maternal (boys or girls) and often pretty well adjusted despite their early years if found outside- and can be great support cats to often more timid tabbies for example! I'm sure this can happen in any breed too perhaps. but maybe it's worth noting to include one, especially as a first time pet parent- they tend to parent you too and help you take care of yourself as well and are very health oriented in general. In college I had one in my face saying it's bed time!! It's pretty cute. Maybe it's the tuxedo- very professional! On point ... but they certainly know how to relax too and love to snuggle as well... with you or another cat (or their toy baby). They're very tuned into to emotions as well and will be there for you if anything is going on as well. I've actually always had a tuxedo to help through other pet losses... I love all cats too- not just being biased- just an observation. and also, I hear they can get over looked like black cats- so fear not anyone. My friend growing up had a black cat too who was just the coolest guy ever!! and extremely wonderful and friendly.

Chatreaux types also make great girl friends too I found with mine... they're kind of dainty and glamorous yet very sweet. The tuxedo I had with her just adored her...he was so proud to sit with her!!!

My apartment complex manager put notices on our doors a few weeks ago that it’s a lease violation to feed stray animals & we will be evicted if caught feeding any stray or wild animals 🥺☹️...So now I can’t feed the feral/stray cat I was feeding & I’m so upset that I don’t know what to do!!?? I don’t want to just abandon him, but I have nowhere to go if I’m evicted. I’m disabled & in remission from Lymphoma.I’ve left messages for different people on YT who post cat rescue videos & have left phone messages for someone with Alley Cat Allies but no one has called me back. I can’t stand not to keep feeding the stray but feel that I’m risking eviction if I do...☹️🥺Any suggestions?

My dining room has turned into crafting/computer work space. hahaha Just did my first direct adoption ("free kitten" situation) in November after my 14 yr old cat passed in October from congestive heart failure. I've had her to the vet twice now and man, I lucked out with her health. No FeLV/FIV, no URI, no worms, no ear mites, just a very manageable flea situation. Her next trip will be her spay!

I am really admire you for all the things and time you have spent to save those kittens. When I found a lost cat tested positive with FPV, I did anything to save him but he could not make it, but he taught me what unconditionally love is, after that I disinfected my house everyday and I was so scared that my cats would get infected with the virus. Its really makes me scared to foster new cats but you really inspire me to foster and save more kittens

My son is night manager of a liquor store. Our last two kittens came from there. We were going to foster the latest but she has a damaged trachea and may need lifelong extra care. I live in Kentucky where kittens and cats are not always taken care of properly. So we're keeping her.
