Every day I get so many emails and comments asking why you can’t locate the music I use or find it using Shazam. I purchase music licenses for almost all the music you hear in my videos. I buy them them from various royalty-free production music sites and most of the time they don’t list the performer because it’s music made only for film productions with an audio watermark throughout the entire track, unless you purchase the single-use license for $50-100 per track. I use a lot of opera so often I’ll reference the opera but I won’t be able to direct you to a recording of that specific performance that you could stream or buy on iTunes or Spotify. Hope that clears things up and thank you for appreciating quality music.

I’m just enjoying this episode so much- laughing because I know exactly how you feel. My husband and I built our home from ground up. The finishing is so hard- but so rewarding. And believe me when your husband enjoys decorating as much as you it is a joy. The rugs will serve you well for a lifetime. It’s a good investment.

I was so ecstatic when you chose the darker bedroom carpet! It compliments the terra cotta floor. The other rugs caused the eye to be somewhat befogged. I am in love with that look! Fabulous taste you both have! ♥

Just exquisite. The little one is at that age of looking, watching, touching, copying. I get the impression he is just so in awe of his parents, of his surroundings. Everything is so peaceful, so calm. Very few children have such an upbringing. Lucky little boy ❤❤

My dear Kylie this was such a warm , inviting video that put a smile on my face. You sweet boy is getting around very well now and his little voice so precious. The wonder of little ones is such a joy. I’m so happy your parents get to enjoy him at these young years. The bathroom, bedroom are going to be glorious when you get it all decorated. Guido will come around and enjoy it so much too. Thank you for sharing your lives and for all the work you put into your videos. The music is always beautiful. I will look forward to the reveal of these beautiful spaces. I’m glad your mother in law shares in the shopping of beautiful things and you have a lovely relationship with her too.❤❤❤❤❤ It’s so easy for people to post their view points on what looks bad, or what you should do or consider Kylie, but the bottom line is that this is you and Guido’s home and you are doing a fabulous job in bringing what you desire into your space. Look past the comments that mean well but are not so kind in wording at times. It’s so easy to be a critic. I wish you and your family a wonderful week. Your outfit today looks very refreshing. Your dad in the pop was a hoot. Much love to you all. 🥰✨🙏

Kylie, everything is luscious, including your decision-making process. I enjoyed hearing your considerations and choices. I love your taste and sense of beauty. There are so many ways to make a space warm, cozy, and lovely for making your most precious memories, and your way does not disappoint. I think the main point, as I see it, is to create the space that brings you and Guido the greatest joy. It is very personal. As usual, though, I love your taste and sensitivity to the finer nuances that make all the difference in the positive energy of your space! Bravissima!!!

Kylie, that rug! IMO, it's perfect. It gives you a balance of darker and lighter backgrounds. It has that gorgeous blue that ties into the chandelier, as well as the green. And to cap it off, the shape of the pattern mimics the arabesque-like shapes in the bed frame! It will look lovely against the white bed linens. I agree with the choice of solid curtains and it will be easier to find a trim that complements the rug. Of course, you can trim all the edges, but I think adding a wide brocade trim just across the bottom will give you that luxurious feel you're looking for💙. Can't wait to see it all come together!

I’m in love with your new bathroom! It’s so good to see it all finished and how much you’re enjoying it. The bedroom is coming along beautifully. As you showed each rug, I was saying “no”, until that last one which you ended up buying. The dark tones really complement every detail so far. I do like the green embroidered fabric very much, but it seems more of an upholstery fabric than one for draperies. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest as it comes along.

Dear Kylie, and all who reads this: sometimes it could be annoying that your beloved husband might be so opinionated but it is truly a blessing in a way that he is so involved and cares about the decor and the overall aesthetic of the room 😅 too much of anything is a problem but I rather have him be part of the process than you having to do everything alone and not being appreciated for the time an effort that it takes to make the house a family home. I’m enjoying these past episodes a lot since I came back from my YT seasonal break 😊❤

OMG, I want to be in Tuscany more than ever these days. Here in Wisconsin, after our snow event, it's finally getting up to 0°C and ever so slightly above. This feels like a heatwave Wisconsin style. I hate snow. I don't know what I'm doing here. S.A.D. syndrome kicking my butt. Here, I cringe when they call things from the 80's vintage. The 80's!!! I would so love to go to antique shops in Tuscany. What treasures must be there. All those fabrics are so adorable. Blue toile is my favorite. I could decorate everything in blue and white. Instead of one big rug several runners around the bed would also be an option. I personally liked the first rug the most. Blue and gold and cream, how lovely. I also love the baskets idea. I love to organize things. It must be the German in me. All in all, I adore your home and I adore your family. Alla prossima❤

It's been so long since I watched an episode on my laptop, as I'm always watching via a smart TV and it's never easy to comment right away but taking advantage of it now! I just love the beauty, care and thoughtfulness of your videos. I have just moved back to Italy myself and for the first time ever, I am in a (mostly) unfurnished apartment - so I now feel like I am renovating my own "ruin" or atleast decorating it & slowly but surely I hope to make it feel like a home. Thank you for your dedication to this channel. It brings me joy every week. When I was back in Canada over this past year , every time I watched a video , it kept the Italian flame inside me alive and it feels so good to be back. I loved your dramatic and romantic mood board ideas for your master bedroom. I would suggest you use a combination of a distressed paint(the one from the wall edges) as a finish on the borders of the cupboard doors and drawers in combination with an Italian vintage wallpaper on the inside panels of the outside doors and drawers and even inside of the cupboard. It will make the cupboards look less modern and set the scene of the mood you’re after. Another idea could be to use a fabric complimenting the curtains instead of wallpaper. The fabrics and rugs also act as sound absorbers and really vamp up the home sweet home feel. I’m sure one day you will find a beautiful old tapestry to hang behind your bed. Happy decorating and thanks always for your wonderful video’s. 🙋🏼‍♀️🇨🇭❤️

Oh! And looking at the photos you had of rooms for your mood board... Nothing can compare with the character of old peeling buildings for adding that je ne sais quoi vibe!!! Drooling... 😆 Okay, so watching further into your video... Don't cut down the curtain rods! We have some that are too short and it looks weird when they aren't long. Like several other folks have mentioned below, you may want to stack the curtains off onto the walls. You won't have that ability if you cut the rods shorter. 💖I've had colored towels over the years and yep! coming to the conclusion that white toweling is just classic and beautiful!! Love how the wood shelves turned out!! And the woven baskets just add their texture to the whole orchestra which is your light-filled bathroom. Love that your father always creates beautiful furniture for you!! Even a little towel holder is a thing of beauty! Alla prossima!!

Your bathroom looks straight of a beautiful rustic hotel that you just love going to. Love the vibe . Its a bummer your hubby is not a big fan of getting in and helping you to do the diy stuff of his old family estate as it can be a wonderful bonding experience. Thank heavens your parents are practical and hands and don't mind doing such stuff after travelling from Australia, you could otherwise be waiting until your old and grey to get things sorted. You'll have to make a plague in your parents honour for their practical and hands on contribution to renovating the old estate as your parents are incredible hands, especially your dad. The furniture he has build has be wonderful and a family heirloom of memories. My husband is similar in his lack of hands on approach to diy, and its frustrating but he is very handy with all the electronic side of things. Keep up the great work. Your son is going to inherit a beautifully restored and inviting home one day, but not before you get to sit back and soak in the incredible achievement of restoring a forgotten estate while grappling with the challenging task of encouraging a husband who clearly struggles with change and would prefer the the less fiddly side of things like antique shopping to putting curtain rails up. Judging from your son's heart warming approach to pitching in , he is definitely taking after his granddad.

The rug is beautiful. light rugs over the years develop traffic patterns...and your rug has a cream background in some of the patterns... for the curtains I do think natural fiber 'sheers' ( I do love open weave casement fabrics!) under a heavier textile makes the room glow...make them easy to pull back.... :) I have some Santa maria Novella sachets.. the first pharmacy !

The bathroom looks absolutely exquisite ❤ you are so creative and I just love your passion. I want a rug and I wish I could purchase one of these. I know that feeling of falling in love with something that just warms your heart and creates so much joy. ❤

I think it’s good to have some dark tones to go with your ceiling and floor. I’m sure that rug will look amazing. Love your inspiration photos. You have a good eye for design.

And Montalcino 564 have some great fabrics. Quite boutique - so I think the colour palette compliments your taste.

For the front of the armoire you could put a wallpaper. Just a subtle damask would be beautiful in shades of creams. It would take them from modern looking to quaint and romantic. Only in the squares of the doors and drawers.
