It is a landmark property. It's about preserve and restore. For 20 years I Worked at a Hotel which had a gorgeous ancient Ballroom. The intricate mosaic tile floors were carpeted over. The walls could not be touched. Not even to install wiring. Julie is so jubilant and elated making the little Italian house tailored to her own vision. The smallest item, she flits like a hummingbird to locate at the antique market.

Plz don't change how you are. I fail to understand why people think it is okay to rudely suggest changes they require in others behaviour. You are both very funny. I love your honest interaction. It may be difficult but ignore those haters...even the ones who say...oh but I love your channel, after they have been insulting. Have a great week! Mapperton is doing so well under your direction.

They asked for us to reply with our thoughts. It wasn't RUDE of us to reply. I am not a HATER. I have trouble understanding the content when they talk over each other. Today was much easier for me. Perhaps I should ask you to not be RUDE to people with a different opinion than you.

I just love when Luke joins in and goes off on his own tangents😉 You’ve both accomplished so much in a relatively short amount of time. I’m very looking forward to the AGA episode, no matter which channel (though Luke has a point on it being part of Mapperton). I know I’ve heard you speak of your London home, so my question is how much time are you living at Mapperton? Do you both have other businesses/careers that keep you in London? Will you ever live full-time at Mapperton?

The enormity of taking on the renovation of Mapperton boggles my mind! There are many people, that if they were presented with the necessity of such projects, would get hives and have a nervous breakdown. I'd probably be one of them. 😳 I admire the results you are achieving; simply beautiful! By the way, the folks producing your videos are very talented. They are so well done.

It's not just a home, it's a business and a vital part of the community that surrounds it. Aga's are so interesting. I remember years ago reading a romance novel and an Aga was mentioned. I couldn't find much about it at the time but now there is so much more info. One of the French Chateau vlogs I watch shows one being fixed and used for baking. I'd love to see a vlog on that. Keep up the good work you 2 (and all the support staff) it's an enjoyable watch.

As a young bride, I visited my British husband's family home, which had the almighty Aga in the kitchen. I was asked if I could make some breakfast and then felt absolutely baffled, as they have no dials. With no idea of what I was doing, I managed to overcook the eggs, undercook the bacon, and felt like an absolute failure. After that, I requested a demonstration, and realized what a useful thing that was, also heated water for a bathroom. I've had enormous respect for them ever since.

Another incredible journey of Mapperton. I may well require a lie down, after processing the time and expense incurred with these projects! : ) Don't change a thing with how you both are, individually and as a couple. I realize, perhaps for some, it's a "bit much" or disrespectful with the sometimes simultaneous banter but I know it's not that at all. I thoroughly enjoy it but understand there are those who don't. We all have varied ways of relating. I sense a deep bond, respect and love for each other. Thank you both (and the team) for a wonderful tour of Mapperton's progress since 2016

I love hearing about all you are doing to preserve and renovate your home, seeing the gardens and other parts of the property, but especially I am delighted to about rewilding, and your plans for it. Imagine that a beaver program is expected to improve the flooding situation in the village down the hill!!! I love seeing Luke more in these programs!! And your interactions. So fascinating. Home renovations in a middle class American home are annoying & costly. Can’t imagine how challenging it is for a huge manor home. That drying bar in the kitchen is genius. Never seen that anywhere before or in colonial American homes I’ve visited. Julie.. you need to buy Cuddle Duds underclothes to keep you warm. I use them in winter and they’re great. Not too bulky. Cold winters here in Pennsylvania and the office I worked in was freezing all winter. Helped tremendously.

Great content folks as usual and well thought out and planned restoration of the historical estate. On the word Lurgi (lurgy, plural lurgies).
