if you dont like the grippy stuff on your wooden stairs i suggest putting in a stair runner instead. it can really elevate the space and will definitely fit your cottage core theme :)

thank you! I will look into that. My mom is 61 and with dogs shes just worried about falling and breaking something so i wanted to make sure she had grippy something lol

I love doing this kind of stuff, and you're doing really well and it's coming along nicely. Just get some protective gear please. I was getting anxiety form you not wearing shoes around the nail boards for the carpet. They dont feel nice when stepped on.
