I'm not religious at all and have always worn skirts. Summer and winter. And, if you can sew, even at a very basic level, you can make a skirt for a few dollars in any beautiful fabric that you want. Pair it with a basic good quality long or short sleeve T ... and you're good to go. No fuss.

The drawers look so nice for storing your things. Keeping them organized as well as easy to find. Hope to figure this all out someday, but organizing in a mobile home is a constant process. Not enough room or cabinets that are modern. Doubtful that will ever change. Money is tight & making do, becomes away of life. But watching yours take shape is somehow comforting. To old to dream of such things now. So you have to live vicariously on watching others achieve there dreams. Great job you & your husband are doing.. making your dream home so pretty & efficient. Hubby & I are reclaim champions & made it a way to achieve many goals in life. I kinda Love it, repurposing things other ppl. throw away & see no value in anymore. The old things if you look deep into there bones or made of strong components & a little tender love & care, can give them a new place in life. They where made to last & it gives me great joy, to give them a place in my home. We where reclaimers before it was a thing. Lol. It was away to have nice pretty things when we started our marriage 43 years ago in May. We couldn't afford them & still can't. It just never worked out for us to have the money we needed to aquire them. So many projects we have brought old disgaured things back to life. Lots of hard work & determination. There is always a way to achieve your dreams if you are willing to work hard enough & have very limited income. One of my prize possessions is a old built in cabinet we rescued from an old house. It was about to fall into the root cellar. It was made from a beautiful wood, bead board backer, plate rails & we added a 16 pain window to it, hinged to open & close. Each board I sanded in a screen tent at 101° in the shade & some boards where to rotten from water damage. So hubby rescued some of the wide trim boards in the old falling down home, that where made from the same wood to replace the rotten boards. It really turned out to be a show stopper with his remarkable skills to take the broken pieces & replace them one by one. My days & days of sanding each piece back to life also paid off as well. The adventures continue here as we are now working on, reclaiming 2 old mobile homes & adding them togather to make one larger place to live. It is quite the task for 2 ppl. in there mid 60's. Moving them with an old M tractor, ourselves. Putting axels tires & leveling them ourselves with cement blocks. We lost our home of our dreams in the year 2010. The bank took it. We had ran a little daycare center in our small town. With an enrollment at the peak of 55 children. The economy went bad in the year 2008 & Hubby lost his job. No fault of his own. He was the only reason we survived as long as we did. Other ppl. where lossing there jobs as well. Then he also had a very bad dirt bike wreak & broke his hip, he couldn't work for about a year. And the bank had tied our home of 30 years, we had painstakingly reclaimed a very old home. But we had brought it back to life & added on an addition. All of our hard work for the 30 years we had worked to make it a beautiful home was gone. The bank took it as they had tied it togather with the daycare center we had ran. Sinking hrs, hrs & also years into bringing it back to life & fixing it all up as well. 7 years it took to make it into a very nice center. Working day & night on it. It to was a very old 2 story home, that years before had been converted into a daycare. But they had let it go so very bad it needed a complete overhaul. We also added an addition to it as well. Updated all the fire codes & made it handicap excible. it took alot of money & so much hard work. We keep it going as long as we could. But in the end when we had no choice to put it up for sale. No takers on the center. So in the end the bank took it & our home. It has been 10 long years now since we started completly over & still we have hope for the future. It would be very nice if we didn't have to work so hard for a roof over our head. But I believe it's still God's plan for the way our life goes. And it could be oh so much worse than it is. We still love each other come what may. In these hard times our country is in. You can see the strif & worry at ever doorstep. To be alive & united isn't taken for granted here. The peace from knowing God our savior has a plan & the dream home will be Heaven is so much comfort when times get hard & are almost more than one can bear. It always strikes me what if I didn't know God & Jesus our savior & how awful that must be for all the ppl. out there that don't know him or have him in there hearts, for comfort & peace when the world around us fails. I pray for those ppl. I'm one of the lucky ones that God reclaimed me as his child long, long ago!❤

My favorite decor piece was the oil/salt/pepper set, it is the perfect size for any kitchen counter, whether you have a small space or larger space, it added the right texture and color against your beautiful quartz counter and tiled back splash.

I love the new rug too, and honestly, for me that size rug is big enough. The only time I'm standing in one place stationary for a while is in front of the sink, so it's really the only place I need it.

Keep cleaning and organising, your helping some of us get our enthusiasm back for cleaning after a long periods of illness and getting back to our feet, ( greatful because I got my four week old bub now after a horrible pregnancy). Doing one extra cleaning project a day, getting on top of things before the mice hit our area with Australia's current mice issue.

We also use drawer liners that are slip, stain resistant in all of our drawers and cabinet shelves and on the shelves of our pantry. We bought them online by size at Walmart and we did have to cut them to fit, which was pretty simple. You will love that you don’t have to wipe the insides of your drawers or on top of shelves as often and the wood drawers, shelves won’t get scratched.

For years I had just one tiny rug in front of my sink. Then I switched to a runner that extends the entire bank of cabinets, because I'm not just standing in front of the sink. I have no idea why I didnt think of it before! It's not only beautiful, but practical too.

Thank you, for the decorating inspiration! I am trying to update my living room decor. My husband and I, are modernizing our home with paint, flooring, base board, crown molding, etc.. We are doing it all ourselves, so we are working on only one room at a time. It is a slow process, but it's so satisfying when each room is completed. Then comes my favorite part decorating the updated space..
