This is such a genuine show...no glossing over the facts, talking about both good and bad points...for example, sea facing view is amazing but also the fact that the proximity to it damages electronics. People can take an informed decision after weighing all the pros and cons. Edit: But the anchor wasted too much time talking about actors and all. That was unnecessary. No one cares in Mumbai.

To all those who are saying it's not worth it, in absolute terms yes it is definitely not worth the rent but you all are forgetting the human factor and its need for virtue signaling. The price is for status and we (Indians) are a status-driven society not wealth driven society, there is a reason our living room items cost more than our bedroom items.

Mumbaikars are a deluded lot. Sure they make a lot of cash, but trying to say a 1 lakh per month property in a dilapidated society is "value for money", is pushing the extremes! It isn't value by any stretch of reality. And the sea view isn't all that grand. The "true" value of such a building is around 45-50K.

One believes too much space was wasted on talking about film actors. A personal trivia here. On my visit to the bandstand promenade this year I bought a green coconut from a vendor. Suddenly when in the midst of the sale the dude rushed with his cart of coconuts to the exact area inside the gate shown in 17:53 in the video & I had to follow him. The reason is the police had come on their periodic rounds & they seize the vendor carts standing on the promenade & the poor fellow does that everytime he sees the police. He pointed out the bungalow & said with a flourish Rekha stays right here.....

If you are rich enough, you would buy one of these places. If you are renting, you rather rent a few kms away from the sea and save atleast 50k! In today's times, it's a total waste of money to rent on Bandstand, that too for this condition of the house and building plus all that traffic.

It's not at all worth to spend that much amount unless and until you profession is in film industry . I have seen many north wealthy struggling actor Take room at bandra to get chance in the film industry.

I wish you would give a detailed walk through instead of chitchatting about movie stars. You only showed one bathroom and not even the kitchen area, dining area. Plus the camera person really needs to learn to follow the conversation and use the camera accordingly. They were talking about the washing machine and the shot is of the stove top. Very frustrating.
